Is everyone talking about that necro'd thread, or is there something new?

There was this guy a while back, who used to spam threads about Cass' jawline, claiming that it was a sign that Gaider had "turned DA gay." He said all the romance options were men.

And when I say spammed, I mean really spammed. Off topic, story and characters, general discussion. Almost every single section say his outrage at some point. He had graphs and visual comparisons. I've never seen a more thorough campaign against a character, and all about her jaw.

<honorary like>

Don't forget that this was the same guy harassed David Gaider on twitter and freaking bragged about it <spit> Whether he's the troll that Servo mentioned or the one we suspect, I'm not thrilled to see him back.

Screw it. Some demons need killed in Gat Outta Hell before I rent Saints Row the 3rd on PS4. I have it on the PS3, but my old PS3 is overheating regularly if I have a disc on the machine.

I'm not convinced it is Not-Brevnau, not yet, but he is very similar.

I found the Thane thread. Oh lawd. That's cute though, I thought it was gonna be all serious! *wipes brow*

On the subject of jawlines, I can't waaait until DA4 comes along and everyone starts dissecting the LIs and complaining about how horribly ugly they supposedly are. Let's see: Cass is a man, Josephine is an alligator/tree hybrid, Sera's ugly/pug-faced/looks like she got hit by a truck, Merrill looks like a twelve-year-old, Isabela's suddenly!!1 brown (nevermind the fact that she ALWAYS WAS), Morrigan's ugly and old now...

The only one to escape is Leliana, presumably because she's creeping up on 40 and still manages to look like a 22-year-old. No wrinkles or evidence that her extremely taxing life takes any toll on her physicality. Magic. (That's not a dig at Leliana, btw.)

He even reported it as a problem on the EA site.

I'm tempted to take my not CC skills and try to create a good looking (to me) female character with a 'man jaw'.

That still makes me laugh!

Friggin' US don't know how to handle themselves in a big game! The players seem to forget their basic training and run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Ugh.

Here's a vent-

Do we really need 90% humidity where I am? Really?

At least if it rained, the rain would make the humidity crash a little. Instead, it's like pea green soup, without the green.

Eeewwww, sorry to hear that. It's only 63% here and it feels like syrup. I can't imagine.

Ugh, I hate it when it's that humid. You sweat where you stand and the air is so thick.

Why did I go back to reading that Asari thread? WHY?

That sucks, Dean. I'm glad I live in Colorado. It's been quite hot, but 20% humidity is considered high unless it's going to rain.

Edit: Lynroy, if it helps, check out this post. Best comment in the thread and it doesn't have nearly the amount of likes that it should. Sasquatch doesn't really care about the BSN, but even he thought this was awesome.

WAT. Is this the Gaylien thread or something else?

It's here. But it ended with 'y do u guys don't think they're hot!'

@Biotic Thank you. He's healing well, but he's not a happy pup.

I'm of course joining the get well wishes for your pup, but you're thanking the wrong person  ;)

Don't forget that this was the same guy harassed David Gaider on twitter and freaking bragged about it <spit>

Oh lord, I found it and David's comments are gold:

"I wonder if I superimposed his face on the head of a cat I could prove to him that he needs to be neutered?"

Huh.

I got a second warning point. Which I honestly wouldn't be at all surprised about... except at the post that was apparently too horrendous to tolerate, which was downright mild compared to others in the same thread.

Well, considering what does get tolerated on a day-to-day without care, I can't bring myself to really care.

Multivent incoming

1. I hit my like limit. I'm grumpy about it.

2. A colleague from school, who I was supposed to do a project with (and tried to set up a date to meet up multiple times) just informed me that he found someone else. I'll have more work to do, but honestly, I prefer that over working with him. I didn't suspect it, but he's really bad when it comes to team work

3.

Spoiler

I saw that post and I may have actually clapped after reading it.

I can't even be bothered to responnndd.

There are at least ten or fifteen phrases that were used that are on the Drinkquisition drinking rules.

EDIT: I counted 18 phrases.

Wow, I though you were joking, but it's right there, pussified.

Plus 'SJWs,' 'I am not a homophobic,' 'PC,' 'shove down our throats' (my favourite one). So much stuff for a drinking game!

I just saw that thread. The mods have strange priorities.

Speaking of which, I was poking around the second page of posts and saw the locked vent thread. Is this group actually private, or can non-members view and report posts? Do the mods prowl around looking for things to moderate in private groups?

We were open at first, then went private, but I think someone still had a link to that thread and reported us. You can't view a private group, but you can view a thread, if you have a link. Aside from that Duelist was followed by mods here, but they spotted him first elsewhere.

I don't want to go back through that thread. That one epic post where the person recounts the special forces experience... What was the point, or thread of conversation that led up to that? In the redesigned Asari thread no less. It was an awesome shut down and everything, but I don't understand why the quoted person was even saying those things in the first place, prompting the response.

It was in response to a poorly thought out post by a poster with a very unique relationship with reality.

Don't know if you guys have an alias for him yet. If not, I suggest NameNumber? Or is that too obvious?

It started from 'women cannot be ground troops' and if you could find one, 'none of them have a jaw like Cassandra.' Some back and forth about the army, then came that curious post about special forces not really seeing war, and boom.

Then the thread moved on to Anita Sarkeesian, and a debate on how women overreact, because everyone gets rape threats on the internet.

I don't understand how it's not closed. It hasn't derailed, the thread lifted off the tracks, and flew straight into the sky. It's 29 pages long, and only 2 of them are anywhere near the main subject.
