Considering the Well should have been in Hawke's game, I'll grant that Morrigan is superfluous. But I'm sure Morrigan and Flemeth (along with maybe Merrill) would have been in DA2 then.
But then, they had planned her being in Orlais since DAO. So she still could have had a role in DAI for some other reason.
Yes and that was meant for the Last court not necessarly for DAI

1. That's misuse of the word fan service because they are also relevant there, Loghain get's relocated to Orlais in DA:A if he's alive. And GW Alistair can meet Hawke instead of Stroud
2. Doesn't make her fan service because of it
3. Cullen actually is fan service, but was handled well enough
All you've done is once again misused what fan service is for poor trolling

About Leliana:
I like her and don't mind her presence, but her presence in all three games - and we can expect her to be in the next one, too - in ways that don't naturally come about as the result of earlier chapters of the story suggests that she is indeed a writer's pet. It's not as bad as Liara in the ME trilogy though, who was the only LI recognized by the ending before the EC, and I think writers should be allowed their pets to some degree. After all, they have to be somewhat invested in the story to go on writing it just as well as we have to be in order to go on playing it.
As for "forcing a character into a story", you can apply that to any character. Most of the time, there are no essential characters who couldn't be replaced with others. On the other hand, you need some recurring characters to hold the story together especially if you don't have a recurring protagonist.
And lastly, if you're an old player, you should appreciate some of the recurring characters, and if you're a new player, those characters should be new to you so you have little reason to complain either.

It's always "forced" if you don't like it. Otherwise, it just is. Just saying.

The only three cameos I had problems with were Connor, because his dialogue is broken, and Teagan because his face and character are broken. I would have preferred that Anora got more time. But most importantly, she should have been given some extra development time to have her last name show as "Cousland" if married to the Hero. Other than that, I liked the cameos.

I prefer that there be cameos, to connect the new game to the rest of the series. I only dislike it when the cameo is poorly done.

It's a matter of perspective here i don't like cameos when the protagonists rotate and change at each game, also the king of a nation not being present in his nation with the queen is just plain silly

XD the game don't need another story variation just because of some returning characters ,you can eliminate many of these characters and the story of DAI would be the same
By all means. Write it without the returns. Do it. I dare you.
Good luck.

I'm actually expecting them to drop her, partly because I doubt the southern Divine will be making an appearance and they slipped in a bit about her training successors in the Trespasser epilogue.

I expect a vague codex entry about what Divine Victoria's up to - whoever she may be - and that's about it.
