Hello !

 

I usually never post on the forums, only read the posts, but I had to ask something.

 

I've been playing the multi for now 6 months and it is a ton of fun, but today I went on a silver match already in progess and the setting were Ceberus on firebase london, and instead of having, you know, 20 ennemies per wave top, there were 50-100 minimum that just kept pouring and pouring. That included collectors, geth hunters and husks, like you would see on a platinum match.

 

The guy that was hosting tried to explain it to my, but my connection was bad and i couldn't understand what he was saying, something about a last stand mode ?

 

Thought I'd ask about it here

 

I'm sorry if it is considered common knowledge, I'm still kinda new to the multi :/

It's probably a modded game where the enemies numbers, types etc have been modified by the host. Probably what the guy was explaining to you. There are a few variations like that on pc I guess, another example would be the zombie husk mode like this;

Clearly a modded lobby, if you're on PC. It happens a lot. Shame that you weren't in Cashsuit's lobby, though.

Anyway, not the kind of game I was expecting to jump in when i'm learning to snipe with the infiltrator lol...

 

And why was it a shame I wasnt in Cashsuit's lobby? Seems i'm missing a good story haha

Someone I know had been in a modded platinum with no enemies every wave, taking less than 2 minutes to finish and he got 50 millions in the end.

 

This became his starting capital.

I've heard Ca$hsuit's lobbies tend to rain $$$ on everyone. It's been a while since I've seen him though so don't get your hopes up..

If you have console enabled you can just give yourself credits at the command prompt

I smash PC gamers all day....well the ones that like to say that "master race" stuff at least.  I MAY be feeling a little jealous right now, even if this is from modding/cheating.  Not as jelly as I am because they can have a Vanguard with Annihilation Field and Flare and I can't, but still jelly.

 

Doing this on Silver would be like ME skeet shooting.  I bet it was hilarious!

Modded games ARE fun if you know before hand youre playing one, try a solo to see how butthurt you can become

 

PC mustard race loves manipulating games that Xbox/PS cant handle with their weak hardware or other restrictions from MS/Sony

I've landed in three of them randomly in my foray into mustard race, which is always a bit of a shock.

 

Two of the three times I had cluster grenades - 45 cluster grenades.

I saw the mistake as soon as i posted it and I knew I was going to pay for it hahaha

 

And I'm sure they are fun WHEN you expect them xD Usually I tend to play adept or engineer which I like to think i'm good with. But on the modded game I wanted to try an Infiltrator with a sniper.... god that was painfull ...

My games have a habit of the extraction wave involving 200 Praetorians who wont actually sync kill you, but instead just melee staggerlock you to death.

 

and I made the missile launcher not work against them, nor can conventional weapons do enough damage to kill them.

 

Your goal is to simply survive for 2 minutes until extraction.

You know, I tend to think I'm somewhat a fit person that can run 5-10km on a workout day. When I run 10km, I find it to be real hard, and i'm proud when I succeed. Then there are thoses peoples that talk to me about their marathons and iron mans, and I just can't understand how they do it because it's light years from what I'm capable to do...

 

When you talk about an extraction with 200 praetorians with no nuke launcher, it's the same thing when people talk about their marathons xD

That zombie mod video is so old. That version doesn't even work anymore. Husks only is soooooo boring.
