Since spirits have no interest in mortals and they given up hope because they saw that most of them lacks virtues,this means that a spiritual warriors must be virtuous by default?

I suppose they do need to embody some kind of virtue. But virtue in this definition isn't purely ethical. "Valor" was a virtue in the Harrowing, and it only meant bravery and courage in battle.

yes i meant them,those who unlocked the spec.

Well true valor isn't an ethical virtue but spiritual warriors can contact different kind of spirits they are not restricted to one so they must be somehow virtuous in what they do,i mean they can't be deranged people.

I would think they'd only communicate with those spirits who have something to offer to warriors. So Valor came off the top of my head.

 

But I can't be sure of that. There's probably lots of them. Faith would be another.. something both mages and warriors could use.

Or they could just be screwing around with entities they don't understand for the sake of combat prowess.

Spirit Warrior shouldn't even be a functioning vocation in 95% of all situations.

Spirit Warrior is just a gameplay gimmick they used in Awakening so that the player could dish out some insane spirit damage numbers. At the moment there is no lore attached to it except a brief Specialization description:

Anyway the spec if used properly was broken with a100% Dodge.

I hope that they will bring back the spec in DA4 with improvements.

Spirit warrior was to me a way of life rather than a specialization,it meant actually that the protagonist was more transcendent and virtuos like Justice and Cole,and was a friend of spirits like Solas.
