Says the yak hair caddy cap with the orange man growing underneath that can't get his stories straight!

Cassandra's lying is matched only by her incompetence. Her expressed opinion on things like the mages, Templars, and Well of Sorrows do not match her approval, and her part in the Inquisition was disastrous, letting in murderous mages and all kinds of spies. She is like Ted Cruz rolled up in Secretary Clinton.

To be fair, Leliana takes the blame for that.

Cassandra and Leliana = Low Energy. Not nimble navigators. Need to have their coats taken away.

What gets me is Trespasser acting like the Inquisition having spies is somehow this shocking and terrible revelation that shows the Inquisition is evil and should be disbanded.

Seriously, having spies is not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, especially considering the only requirements for joining were "anyone who wants to help".

I don't think evil is the right word, but rather vulnerable. In any case, it's not so much the spies that cause so much of a concern as it is the fact that these same spies also used the Inquisition as a vehicle to sneak deadly explosive material as part of a plot to stir some major sh*t.

Unless the Inquisition has agents across every noble house in southern Thedas, I doubt it's entirely the Inquisition's fault. For starters, there are qunari spies in the elven staff at Halamshiral and I doubt it was Inquisition agents that put the bombs in the noble houses throughout the free marches.

It's more how having access to the eluvians let the qunari do this in the first place

As if you expected them to do better in meeting up your standards.

It's not just having spies (and Orlais has bards). The Exalted Council believed the Inquisition is acting like an independent group with a lot of support and power. In their POV, the Inquisition can do whatever they want. They either want to control them (Orlais) or disband them (Ferelden).

They don't want to admit that they screwed up their people during the events of the game. In the end, it's all about wanting take that power from an already almighty group.

No, I am not an American. I simply find Trump entertaining and I like that he is giving mainstream media the metaphorical middle finger with his politically incorrect attitude. Its about time someone made elections entertaining and interesting as opposed to the dreary scripted dullness that it typically is.

Cassandra. Yes let's talk about Cassandra for me she is my favorite companion she is modest , honest , honorable. She wants nothing to do with her past where she was treated like a porcelain doll that was dusted from time to time when she was needed. She has a romantic side i really love those cutscenes where she is reading that book from Varric. Those are i think my favorite cutscenes in the game.

The only thing that bothers me a little about Cassandra is when you choose that the Mages should be free she Greatly Disapproves on that and in the cutscenes after she still disapproves but way less it feels like it is almost the opposite at least to me.

And if this was real life then i could really consider her a friend.

So what are your thoughts about Cassandra ?

Cassandra is one of my favorite characters to. The only thing is she should loosen up a little and not being so serious most of the times. She is sometimes funny when it comes to party banter. But i do take her with me a lot in parties together with The Iron Bull. And Blackwall is the most boring Warrior of the three his voice is so boring sorry for the man that gave his voice to Blackwall.

<_<  Are you serious, I thought she was crap - she was much more interesting and appealing in DA2 than she was in DAI.

After Haven she was just boring.

But then again - I dislike nearly all of the companions in DAI - compared to DAO they were all kinda crappy.

(Solas was intereting though, and Varric was cool in DA2 so he gets a free pass)

I liked Cullen, Leliana, Morrigan, I like the story, I liked the combat a lot (it just needed a bigger skills bar), I liked the main Villian.

Plus its a continuation of the Dragon Age story and I am Dragon Age fan - DAO was amazing.

Side note: I just remebered Dorian, he was pretty cool.

But that's just it... an organization that has taken in anyone who says he's willing to help maybe isn't the right organization for the next challenge.

She is probably my.favorite female fictional character of all time. But about the mage thing. You have to remember she is very Lawful Good. And mage oppression was the law. Not really an Idealist. And was a Seeker. She's clearly not a fascist but she does have a mistrust of the situation.

I rather like her. She was almost always in my party and if you don't agree with her views (like my inquisitor) you can still come to an understanding based on respect/form a close friendship without the player having to do a lot of headcanoning.

Of all time that for me is going a little to far but she is in my top 10 of all times yes she has her flaws to but over all i consider her a friend

She "was" almost always in your party ? In my current playthrough my Inquisitor is the same as you describe yours and indeed you can come to an understanding with her and still be a very good friend of her.

They needed the blood of a dragon for some ritual, so they asked Anthony to get it for them. He refused and they killed him for it.

How dare you... only mages can be victimized.

I'm sure there's a totally valid reason mages killed her brother.

Well if you think that is a valid reason to kill someone then there is something seriously wrong with you.

Cassandra is definitely my favourite character from Inquisition. I adore how she's a total fangirl.

Not a big fan of her religious zeal from time to time though. Partially my fault; I don't like getting disapproval points with characters I like, but at the same time I was roleplaying a Dalish character, who I wanted to roleplay as a 'true' Dalish (my Warden was already the more casual/skeptic type of Dalish). Unfortunately, you do get some disapproval points if you don't fully go along with Cassandra's belief.

But as with many of my IRL friends; just because I disagree with her, doesn't mean I dislike her. Heck, I don't think there's a single character I always, 100% agree with or can't see the flaws in.

Oh and I dislike how she doesn't want to date my glorious FemQuisitor, because vaginas are icky and gross *grumble grumble grumble*
