Cassandra is definitely my favourite character from Inquisition. I adore how she's a total fangirl.

Not a big fan of her religious zeal from time to time though. Partially my fault; I don't like getting disapproval points with characters I like, but at the same time I was roleplaying a Dalish character, who I wanted to roleplay as a 'true' Dalish (my Warden was already the more casual/skeptic type of Dalish). Unfortunately, you do get some disapproval points if you don't fully go along with Cassandra's belief.

But as with many of my IRL friends; just because I disagree with her, doesn't mean I dislike her. Heck, I don't think there's a single character I always, 100% agree with or can't see the flaws in.

Oh and I dislike how she doesn't want to date my glorious FemQuisitor, because vaginas are icky and gross *grumble grumble grumble*

I'm not a fan of disapproval myself they are suppose to be my friends then they should not disapprove so much they should support my decisions a little more.

Ah.. No.

Half the time they actually do support you, that is to your face. But if they personally disagree it's because they have their own opinion.

And they're not your "friends". They work for you and the Inquisition. Friendships are developed throughout the game.

Well some of your companions are your friends and this is a topic about Cassandra and she is definitely my friend she says so herself.

Hmmm, I don't think I would want characters to just agree with the PC says. Even if they are friends - which isn't always the case. I disagree with a lot of my friends IRL, that doesn't stop us from being friends, nor is it bad.

But because there usually is a common ground in friendships (you often agree more than you disagree), the easiest way to create friendships and rivalry in a video game is by having them give approval and disapproval for actions and decisions a character agrees or disagrees with. It's simple and clunky, but the only affordable and working system for games as of right now.

Cassandra's lying is matched only by her incompetence. Her expressed opinion on things like the mages, Templars, and Well of Sorrows do not match her approval, and her part in the Inquisition was disastrous, letting in murderous mages and all kinds of spies. She is like Ted Cruz rolled up in Secretary Clinton.

First i apologize for this post but i had to do this. But are you kidding me are you saying that with your name and your avatar that you are voting for someone like trump. Because that is one disgusting man he is not only looking disgusting with his orange brown color but he is disgusting. I wanted to say a disgusting pig but pigs are not disgusting but he is ( pigs are beautiful animals ). If he would become president of the United States that would be a black day in the history of America and of course the 4 years to come

I think the explosion at the start of the game affected her, because from "I don't trust you. I believe you caused this." to "What are your orders?" around 5 minutes later is a bit contradictory.

Aside from that she's...ok. A hard working co-worker for whom I have no interest aside from that. I even romanced her in my completionist run and she had some great funny moments. The varric one was intentional, the love scene, well, Inquisitor seeming possesed and the Seeker not noticing the demonic poetry book magically stuck to his hand was priceless. I know it's a very minor thing, that the way characters hold books is completely unrealistic but in that scene it just had me laughing.

Also about her movie. Prepare for anime. Seriously, at some point Cassandra was a DA2 rogue that unlocked the heavy armor perk when she joined the seekers. Seriously, I think at one scene she does a backflip in heavy armor from the top of a golem into the head of an ogre. Also, she literally 1-shots a high dragon, at least once (climbs to the face, stabs it with a jagged knife, instakill). One thing is adding flair to it, but not even Varric's fantasy when he first enters his brother's house in DA2 had him one shotting elite mobs.

I think we all can agree that the movie was like Varric's egregious tales about Hawke. "Improving the truth", so to speak. Cassandra does tell the Inquisitor that every time she hears her story again, it gets wilder and wilder.

That said, character-wise, Cassandra experiences an evident development since that adventure. It may be difficult to see for those whose first experience with her was DA:I, but her position about Chantry, mages and conspiracies is more nuanced now.
