We cleared out the Storm Coast except for a few Red Lyrium deposits that I'm guessing we will have to come back later for. I didn't see the Dragon anywhere, but we will look again when we head back to smash the lyrium. The next stop has been the Western Approach where we've mainly cleared a few caves, conquered the Silent Ruins, and took over the keep. I think I accidentally sold my order "sad splinter". Anyway to find another to craft the weapon?

Unfortunately, no. You need 3 splinters to make the weapon. You get one from each keep door you bash in. The good news is, it's not a weapon you want to actually use. :)

The Western Approach has nearly been cleared. Ellianora discovered the Coryphius has basically brainwashed the Wardens...which is unfortunate. I'm surprised no one has brought up that Blackwall doesn't seem to be affected? I took out the High Dragon with Bull, Blackwall and Solas. He/She didn't pose much of a challenge, but they may be due to the sweet armor and weapons I've crafted/collected for them. I rarely find anything better than what I've crafted. Next stop will be chatting with everyone at Skyhold, clearing around my inventory (I'm going to stop picking up non unique/rare equipment at this point. I never spend gold) and trying to hit level 16 so I can unlock the dragon on the Storm Coast. I think we'll head to this ball I'm supposed to crash to keep the Empress from getting assassinated. I've been putting that off for awhile.

I'd suggest doing Exalted Plains and possibly Emerald Graves before doing the ball, it makes somewhat more sense since the area deals with the war.

There's also another dragon to tango with.

Thanks, my current save is in the courtyard of the ball, so I'll just awkwardly back out and do some adventuring before heading back in! Several people have already insulted Ellianora's elvishness, so she's got not problem skipping shafting them for the moment!

I ran around the Hissing Wastes for a bit (talk about desolation) solely to track down the Masterwork Curved Blade schematic for Ellianora. I made one using Fade Touched Obsidian for the guard generation, but realized I will eventually want two made with Dragon Bone for the higher DPS, so I held off on making a second (I'll likely remake the first eventaully) until the crew headed back to Storm Coast to take on Vinsomer. He was the toughest dragon so far. That AOE lighting spell he casts was brutal. Ellianora (who's damage numbers were insane during the fight) took him down with just a sliver of her own health left, Bull lying unconcious, and even Blackwall, who rarely ever loses health, threatening to die on me. Ellianora happily scooped up the loot (including some fade touched plush velveteen thank you very much) and promptly crafted a sick dagger that fires of Hidden Blades every so often. When she collects enough Dragon Bone she'll re-make the first. I really need to find her a better looking helm, that's the only thing holding her back from a completely BA look at the moment.

3 companion conversations of interest. After every dragon killing Ellianora and Bull have drinks. Last night she met the rest of the Chargers. Eclectic bunch. She had  weird conversation with Cole. You can usually not understand what he's talking about, but I guess I'll track down his old (friends?), one of whom possibly hates him because he's a spirit (it may just be because he's super awkward to have a conversation with!). Last but not least, Solas pitched a hissy fit about the Wardens wanting to find and kill the old gods before they become archdemons. Thing definitely would not have worked out with him and Ellianora. Bro needs to chill!

Well I finished Wicked Hearts. I'll confess, I had NO idea Morrigan was in this game. I nearly fell out of my chair when she walked down the stairs. Bravo.

I somehow managed to stumble around the palace, find tons of loot and all the statues while keeping my approval at 100. In the end Ellianora put Gaspard on the throne with Briena calling the shots. Her elvishness got the best of her. Now to sort through the loot!

Sorry for the gap between posts!

I spent quite a bit of time dragon hunting and clearing some non story areas. Not much to touch on there, other than to say that Ellianora is a dragon slaying fiend.

Finally she, Blackwall, Vivienne and Solas hit the road for Adamant (sp?). I was disappointed at how easily manipulated the Wardens were. They were so built up in lore in Origins, and I loved my fallen Dwarf hero. I found their role in the current conflict unfortunate to say the least. Then Ellianora shows up and says "This is a mistake!" and the wardens all say "Oh yeah, thanks for letting us know!" Allistair would have never let this happen.

Then we fell into the Fade. It was mercifully more enjoyable than the Fade sequence from Origins. I enjoyed seeing what really happened in the Temple. Ellianora was thankful she'd never embraced the whole Andraste saved me story line.

The decision on who to l leave in the Fade was easy (although I had to break role playing). I loved my Hawke and had no attachment to Stroud, so he stayed. Granted now the Wardens don't have a leader, but dadgummit I'm not sacrificing Hawke for that! Now if my decisions in earlier games had left me with an Allistair or Hawke decision? I'd still be sitting there trying to decide.

On to the next adventure!
