Yeah, it's a little jaundiced. She looked better in DA2/DAI, but I still like the basic design. The mod I use is kind of moderate...best of both worlds.

Same with Cullen. lol. I just have a mod that removes his wrinkles.. doesn't change the face shape though.

It took me a long time to find a light Leliana mod that barely changed her, most make her a completely different person.

Bummer. You would think considering the shelf-life of DA:O (going on six years now) that EA would have created a toolset and made DA:I officially moddable.

Not sure why they didn't, but DAO was still based on old Bioware stuff (Eclipse)..made before EA came into the picture. DAI is Frostbite.. and none of the Frostbite games are easy to mod.

My friend told me that BioWare don't own the tools you need to mod Frostbite, so they'd either have to produce a whole new set or licence them.  Which would be very expensive I assume for a free modders toolset.

Anyone try Theta HD? Really enjoyed the clarity and crispness that added to textures.

BioWare don't own FrostBite, but EA do!  Long before DAI they had purchased the developers of both the game and the game-engine, (BioWare, and DICE, respectively.)  So the only "licensing fee" is if EA charge themselves.  B)

But as to the question of a toolset, so far DICE have not released one for public use.

You could try making your own in the toolset.
There is a unique Leliana slider, so it is quite easy to get her to look like default & then make only the changes you think she needs.
My Leliana changes for every play through, you wouldn't like her because she is too different, but I like this last one & might use her again.
Spoiler

Once you have done it once, you will be changing faces for everyone your not happy with.
Making your own faces can be as much fun as playing the game.

Oh no, don't get me started!  I'll never stop tweaking their faces.

She looks really good.

I wouldn't put it past EA to charge themselves.  :P

Thank God for this mod

There's also the DA2 look for elves for DAO, I can't play with the old skin for elves anymore after installing this one mod.

Improved atmosphere is a must have, but I didn't really like some changes in the 2.0 version so i'll stick with the previous one.

Spiders-into-Darkspawn. Also Lock Bash.

I'm an arachnophobe who likes DA games. And my god, didn't it chafe me that I had to wait months to play DAI because there wasn't a no-spider mod.

Skip the Fade gets all of my love and adoration. I've done it several times the real way so yeah I don't need to do it AGAIN. It's just annoying to have to go through again.

I believe also something that improves DAO elves that I used don't know if it was the same thing ^Apo is talking about. I had to get a new motherboard a year ago so all of my stuff got wiped and I have to reinstall it  :crying:  But I feel a new DAO+DA2+DAI playthrough inspiration for sping/summer 2016 woooooot.  :wizard:

probably the extra hairstyles one for DAO because the vanila ones were kind of rubbish and seeing as it's the only mod I use for DAO it's got to be my favourite. It was the moer hairstyles mod but it seems to have disappeared off the nexus atm as I can't find it. Fortunately I have a copy of it on one of my flashdrives and another on a backup hard drive for easy installatoin on my PC so I don't need to download it.
