Now that is actually a point of which definition I didn't understand correctly, then. Explain it to me maybe.There is a world of difference between top scoring and score-whoring. Scorewhores are the single worst thing in the game. I was merely pointing out that when played properly, a Volus can still dish out the pain.
In my mind
a scorwar is singularly playing to get the highest score, and
I) either get it (even if she/he must walk over the dead bodies of his closest buddies/cheating) or
Ii) are very destructive to avoid others getting it- ie even torpedoing own mission like stealing the pizza and running away or breaking off lan connection as host to avoid the scoreboard been shown with everybody falling back automatically to the lobby. In real life these people are extremely lonely.
In contrast a self-proclaimed top-scorer are a e-peen chaser but probably not as benign as the scorwar. This is constantly seen in videos as checking the score, and will feel very unwell if at place 4, lest someone talks about it here at BSN. In game they are detectable as those people shortly freezing after a wave ( ie no messing around/ halted instead of running/ walking.
Then there a players that simply happen to have killed more than the rest- are in no way phased by that, also don't mention it, since they know that it's irrelevant in a coop. Aha- oh- well whatever people.
Then there are the others, that sometimes win sometimes loose, playing to enjoy the time but not really striving to improve, happywith everything staying the same.
Please correct my narrow perspective on these things...
