No, thats just this new generation of crybabies coming up that live their life looking for something to get offended over. Real men still exist.
Not the same thing. I like seeing noobs get owned trying to fire high caliber weaponry as much as the next guy, but the point of the weaponry to begin with is that it's within the range of human abilities to fire. The Widow is specifically stated to shatter humanoid arms.
or cybernetically enhanced quarian (i.e. all of them), whenever a loyal robot servant isn't available to do the dirty work, of course. You're soft, asari, salarians, all soft.
We see augmented asari firing them in ME3 (Armali sniper unit). I can even put one on a volus. Space Jebus isn't that special.
You're all trying too hard to deny that which is obvious. We invented the best pistol (Arc), the "best" "shotgun" (Reegar, though I prefer Claymoar even if it's not as efficient) and the best grenade (Arc ). We also invented the Widow until the geth propaganda film is retconned from existence.
Stay salty lesser creatures.
Underlined: source? Unless you mean after peace is achieved, which is near the end of the game and therefore doesn't count.
Btw scub, by ME3 both the Widow and Claymore were redesigned to keep their stopping power but lower their recoil so lesser creatures could fire them. You're welcome. You suit rats have enough health problems as it is, without breaking your own damn spines trying to shoot the enemy.
You're right about the Arc Pistol and Reegar. But don't get too uppity. Isn't it time for your antibiotics?
It's elementary, my dear Watson. it can't be used by non augmented asari or salarians, who don't have robots to use it either, so have no reason to design it and can be ruled out. As for turians....just lol. Those primitives invented the horrible Predator, Krysae and Vindicator. They can use guns pretty well, but they aren't very good at designing them. Krogan? Fortack's perhaps a possibility if he was around, but the weapon itself is too precision engineering. It doesn't have blades sticking out of it or something else suitably primitive like other krogan designs. Also it's a sniper rifle, which a krogan simpleton would probably sooner try to use as a club than learn how to use as intended. Geth? The weapon was around before they learned how to even think.
Who else does that leave? The Hanar, Volus or Elcor? No, it's entirely obvious where a piece of such high tech death originally came from. The same place as the other, most superior weapons in their respective classes invented by the glorious Master Race.
Actually the elcor are a viable possibility. Higher gravity world, denser forms, and I could see such a powerful cannon being designed to be platform mounted before it was made hand portable. It'd be a popgun to them.
Also the first Widow we see is aboard the Collector ship. It's possible the ultra-powerful version we know is actually Collector built or modified, though the former is unlikely seeing as it doesn't look like it came off a bug.
We also don't see how the weapon fires in the archive footage. It may be that before thermal clips it was still efficient, but not the thunderbolt of Zeus it later became. It's likely whoever first converted it to thermal clips might've had a hardon for overkill and thus modified it to expel all its energy in one shot (why not since you change out the heat sink anyway). The resulting recoil showed them the error of their ways.
Maybe the Quarian's weren't weak ass bitches back then.
Unlikely. They did get kickbanned from their world by their very own "toasters".
