ty all.  i'm doing well now.  I tried using Garrus and man he's bad as an adept - disappointing.  Javik is so useful I agree.  At least I have Liara, and will try Kaiden a bit soon.

Story wise, it doesnt matter when to do Leviathan or Omega, right? I'm thinking I'll do it in Act 2.  And I assume I'll do Citadel DLC as last thing before the finale.

I look forward to an Insanity playthrough next time around.  Hardcore might be getting a bit on the easy side but I still enjoy it and feel like I'm doing something.

As long as Aria remains trapped, the enemies will keep spawning, so you want to free Aria as quickly as possible. What I recommend is as soon as you regain control of Shepard:

1. Run to the left or right and head up the stairs. Override the console, then peak back out and then destroy the shield generator holding Aria.

2. Run down the 'hallway' to the other console and repeat (override the console and destroy the shield generator holding Aria).

3. Run to the other side and repeat.

4. Run down the last hallway and repeat.

Once Aria is free, enemies no longer spawn in indefinitely, so kill everyone until Petrovsky calls it off. I think you only have to kill 2-3 Adjutants and then he calls it off. I'm not sure what the cutoff is.

Try not to engage enemies in combat when running around overriding consoles and destroying the shield generators. You want to free Aria as soon as possible.

DO NOT destroy the shield pylons surrounding the consoles or the shield generators powering the pylons. These will give you shields to keep you alive.

If at any moment you feel that too many enemies are upon you, run. Don't try and make a stand. The shield pylons that give you shields will also give enemies shields, so if they get too close (especially adjutants), they can become dangerous. Try to kill adjutants from far away so they do not get close to the shield pylons. A good strategy would be to kill 1-2 enemies, then run. Run in a circle (clockwise or counterclockwise) to keep from being surrounded and to try and funnel enemies into a single direction.

Thanks Red... I'll try to stay ahead of them.

I usually do Leviathan after Thessia. Omega anytime after completing the 3 side missions that Aria tells you about. Talk to her in Purgatory, then do the 3 side missions. Once done, Omega can be started. Citadel I play after Sanctuary

Insanity is easy. I'm currently playing as an engineer using James and Ashley. Its even easier playing as a soldier. I just plow through the baddies playing that class.

Just wanted to add another thanks.  I sailed through the final Omega battle better than I ever had before.  Didn't even need any medi-gel this time.  I guess my issue was trying to fight off some of the adjutants before getting Aria free.
