If you say so... but I think the other post I quoted suggests that you did. I'm out of here... go poke another bear.
Take care

However, I prefer how it's handled for consoles. Console controls are a lot more defined, every button has a specific purpose. I like that over using keyboard commands.
I agree. There should be a separate control system for PC. You have access to more keys, more control et cetera, and it is a waste to not utilise that.

What does that even mean, "console controls are a lot more defined"? Every button on the keyboard has a specific purpose too. You prefer less freedom in choosing your own controls and shitty analog stick aiming over accurate mouse aiming?
Regardless, I've never really had much of a problem with the PC-ports of Mass Effect. The UI is quite different for PC, what with the tactical menu and all, the framerate+resolution is higher and the texture quality is better. I'm sure it'll be just as good for ME:A
PC controls for ME2 and ME3 were subpar. They have the money and time to do it right this time. No excuses.

They tried to completely break the controls apart for Dragon Age: Inquisition and there seemed to be more people upset at those controls then what we got with Mass Effect games. No matter what BioWare does there won't be a solution people will like, it will just be a solution some people like.

My only gripe was the limited hotkeys. But if Inquisition is any indicator an 8 skill hotbar seems to be their thing. I just hope binding/using squadmate's abilities is easier in ME:A especially with grenades being a thing now. Like Q for squad1's primary skill, alt+Q secondary skill, shift+Q for squad1's nade, E for squad2's primary skill, etc.

You're the first person in this thread to suggest how PC controls could be better instead of saying, "Waah, console port!".
Thumb up.

An interesting idea, but I think I would prefer something a little different. Since in the past Mass Effect has only had two companions and if that continues have three hotbars and without a modifier would be for the Protagonist, use alt for the first party member and then ctrl for the second party member.
On PC one thing I would like to see is the ability to lock abilities together or to have a custom layout. So if I really wanted to imitate Mass Effect 3 and have run/cover/use on the same button I could, but I desired to use different keys for cover/use on one and run for another I would be able to do that as well.
I've always been much happier with ME on console than DA. It's just a shooter with very limited powersets. There's only so much you can do.
