So I bought Dragon Age Inquisition: Deluxe Edition when it just came out, played more than a half of the game and got a bit bored.

Now I remembered about this game and want to finish it. Saw that a lot of DLC came out for it. Then I saw that DLC costs more than a base game and I understood that this is really stupid and not worth a penny.

Normal game costs 20 euros.

GOTY edition costs 40 euros.

DLC only costs like 55 euros.

What's the point for me to buy GOTY if I have normal game already. Only for the DLC discount?

So when does Origin has discounts?

Origin will have discounts around the Christmas holiday, and also possibly a summer sale to compete with Steam. If you really don't want to spend the money, or care about playing all of the DLC right now, your best bet is to wait.

 

However, I would suggest buying only Trespasser now, as that contains additions and improvements to the base game, as well as providing an epilogue for the base game. Trespasser is basically required for the complete DAI story experience, whereas the other DLC are not.
