I hope not, and if they do, I think that would be something the Qunari - and only the Qunari - would be using. Dwarves, I think, would stick with crossbows and bolts. Qunari already show exceptional skill with explosives.

Sure, why not?
But they would need to change the weapon restrictions a little bit, thus far only rogues can be marksmen (this could be solved by returning to DAO system).

I have not made up my mind yet if they should put it in the game or not. And true the Qunari are showing exceptional skills when it comes to explosives.

You mean, like, the DA equivalent of the 15th-16th-17th Centuries?

I doubt it. After all, the Veil will probably be removed sooner or later, at which point technology will hardly have an interest.

That depends, will this musket be named Mirabelle and will we shout its' name when we switch to it?

Yes you can call your musket Mirabelle whatever you want. The shouting part i'm not sure of though.
P.s. Why Mirabelle ?

Considering what we saw in Descent I think we will, I'm a bit worried this will ruin the medieval/fantasy aesthetic; but it is also quite a logical step to take. But as long as they keep the Magic and various Races I'm willing to give it a try. Could be very steam punk-ish actually.

DA4: Tevinter and Dorian's rise to power. The Qunari invade, Solas plans are uncovered more.
DA5: Anderfels. The Grey Wardens are attempting a coup and while fighting that you discover critical ties between the blight and the old Elvhen world.
DA6: Solas attempts to fulfill his plans. The former Inqusition rallys the united forces of Orlais and Tevinter to oppose him either by using the blight as a weapon or threatening him to back down. Ultimately his plans half-succeeds. The world is not ended, but the Evanuris are freed.
DA7: The world vs. the Evanuris. Several characters can have an impact if they were left alive, the Architect, Anders, Solas etc.
Yay

I agree with you that it will maybe ruin the game to. But yeah that is what i think to it is a logical step to take i am not sure if i will still play the game when that happens though.
