Haven't heard much on this topic but anyone know if my female elf inquisitor would be physically able to have a kid with Iron Bull.

A half-Qunari baby? Why would you do that to your poor Inquisitor's vagina?

If you're serious, don't worry. Some of Cole's dialogue with Iron Bull has him mentioning a kid iron bull having little stumps where the horns grow. So like other creatures with horns, qunari aren't born with a full set of horns

If that were possible, there would be little Iron Bulls freaking everywhere. If they all joined the Bull's Chargers he would be able to conquer whole kingdoms.

I am also certain that there has been no mention of whether a dwarven and elven union would produce children. So that's another mystery Bioware has yet to reveal.

It's like the Pandora's Box of fantastical inter-species cliches.

Sorry, all that Fade radiation has left you as sterile as a mule. You'll be lucky if you reach 40 without growing a second head.

Actually, that has been brought up. The offspring of a dwarf and an elf is a dwarf, just as the offspring of a human and an elf is a human. There's a rumour that Sandal's biological mother was an elf.

It should work. If it's with an Elf though, it wouldn't be Half-Qunari, it would be full Qunari. You should be able to have a half-Qunari if it was with a human.

Also considered Iron Bull might be just too humongous for my petite elf Inquisitor. Pregnancy would take quite a toll on her body and ruin her vagina, but hopefully Bull wouldn't care. XD

For real though I'm just curious about this because I always put into consideration how compatible my characters love interests are reproductively.

Never happen to Camine in my games since she favors human or Elven men.. Chasha hates all men and prefers female Elves or a occasional  human female.

I was thinking more that a Qunari baby would be too gigantic for a tiny elf to safely carry to term and give birth to. Especially since healing magic no longer seems to exist in Thedas, she might even die from it.

But um...adoption is great!

Bioware has been known to make "incompatible" romance options before with certain inter-species as with homosexual relations so I wouldn't put this past them. Though Qunari do look somewhat human. So maybe the result would be really tall muscle bound humans with grayer skin and horns.

Though any female human/dwarf/elf who carried a half-Qunari to term would be in serious trouble. Not saying it'd be like throwing a grenade up there, but it wouldn't be a vagina anymore.

How 'bout them orphans, eh?

I'm pretty sure Bull already has more than a few kids running around. Not necessarily in southern Thedas, but back in Par Vollen with the whole breeding program thing? Yeah. Definitely.

Unknown.  The Qunari have been practicing a sort of eugenics program for centuries, at least.  And it's unknown if there have ever been any non-qunari relationships with Vashoth (prior to the Inquisitor or Dorian)

Has there been a case of a woman having a baby so large it killed her? I would think nature wouldn't let that happen, and either labor would be induced before the offsrping reached a size that was too dangerous for the mother, or the baby would just not get large until after birth.

We've had caesarean sections in RL for a couple of thousand years, and our world didn't have the benefit of healing magic that would prevent an untimely death.

Women can die from bleeding too much while giving birth and the larger the baby, the more tearing and bleeding. They can also die from obstructed labor which I would think the size of the baby would be a factor. With modern medicine obviously there are things we can do to help to a degree but in Thedas? Plus I'd think that a half-Qunari baby would be way larger than any human baby and DA:I elves are just so...not sturdy.
