well this is my question i play all time in software mode but my question is that is posible use hrdware mode with my graphic card?i have a motherboard msi 770 c45..and realtek hd drivers...any differenc ein use hardware sound?

 

my pc is compatible with hardware sound?

 

amd phenom II 955 x4 3.2 ghz

Amd 5770 vapor x

msi 770 c45

Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits

My motherboard has a Realtek ALC892 sound chip & has no trouble using hardware sound, so I would think your ALC888S sound chip should be fine also.
If you only use stereo, then you won't notice any difference.
Software mode sound doesn't support 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound, Hardware sound will, if you have that many speakers connected.
