Hey guys, I played the game till about level 15 and I noticed I didn't get a champion companion.
I did some reading and understood that I will not get blackwall because I missed his quest and now it is
unavaible, I feel as if i am missing a "Tank" in my team and that's holding me back.
I myself play an assassin rouge so having a tank that will take the heat is quite a big deal, should I maybe start
over while making better choices or do you have an advice how I can keep playing without having Blackwall as a tank?
Thanks!

Cassandra is just as good if not better. Depends on who u ask around here. Lots of heated debates. Lol . But um no don't start over. Roll with casandra. Dragoninquisition.com for starter tank builds

Cassandra is just as decent as tank, maybe even better. Blackwall does have better surviveablity though, but Cassandra brings alot of buffs to the party and decent damage aswell. Check out a guide for her and find the best way to use her.

As much as i love Cassandra, she was never able to survive as well as Blackwall does.

Depends on gear, doesn't it? Once I had her in Tier 3 everything, it was rare for her to take any damage.

blackwall is better against warriors and red templars. cassandra is better against mages, venatori and demons. pre-trials, blackwall was a better tank because red templars were harder to defeat than venatori. post-trials, it;s the exact opposite. plus, wrath of heaven's new toggle is just as good as walking fortress in my opinion, just trading healing for damage mitigation.

Blackwall rides the pine in every PT of mine (even though I recruit him most all of the time).  I can't say I miss him.  Cass is fine. Plus spell purge for all those rifts.

Cassandra was always good enough as a tank for me.  Blackwall is a little better against high HP enemies with To The Death.

I would only reload to get Blackwall if you want him for story purposes.

Agreed it's not that hard to compensate for his loss given you still have Cassandra  and Cassandra like Blackwall is S&S. Tbh I tend to normally use Cassandra more than Blackwall anyway. Although I am using Blackwall moer in my current run but that's down to me being a templar myself this time around so don't really need Cassandra in my current playthrough. For me I th9ink I'd miss Iron Bull moer than Blackwall given I find Bull excellent at heavy hitting duties. Blackwall is probably the most expendable of the 3 warriors I'd say.
