Imagine the banter...
I don't know. Most characters that I could list here, I love due to the environment they have been written for, and I am not sure they would belong in the Dragon Age world. Some major aspects of why I love them would be lost...but...since I'm here, and want to answer this. I am going to with:
Marcurio from Skyrim - well, because I need a pack mule who talks a lot about Dwemer...I mean, Dwarven ruins.
Kaine from Nier
Bishop from Neverwinter Nights 2
Jack and Morinth from Mass Effect
Durance and Grieving Mother from Pillars of Eternity
Farnese from Berserk
Any hot sorceress from the Witcher
The Watchers from Drakengard (well, as the bad guys, not companions)
Lazarevic from Uncharted 2
"Let us engage in jolly co-operation!"...i would like him to be a companion....time and space is messed up in his world, he could be show up in Thedas for some reason....
Oh yes! Solaire is not only a bro but a great summon. He tanks hits like they're nothing and if they get far? Lighting spears!
I can imagine the face of templars when they see the sword and shield warrior cast lighting spells. Though Solaire does sadly have a story of succumbing to demons if they offer a grossly incadescent sun :'(
Btw, fun fact, he painted the sun symbol on his armor himself.
The quest to find his own sun lead him to Thedas, then he engaged jolly cooperation with the main character. To think about it...he could be a good companion, he help the main character and as side quest the main character help him find his sun...we can summon him in spirit form if we don't bring him along traveling, he will give his sun medal to the main character if he is in love...
Desire demon could fool him because the sun is his desire isn't it? There should be a quest to save him from The Fade where he got succumbed by the sun...

Of course, and we know who is holding his Sun, who else from Lordran could hold it, serve as an antaganist and mock your jolly cooperation with "Wat r u, casuls?" other than the Legend himself.
Well, for those that don't know the legend:
a few people from the Witcher universe to put the problems of the mages into perspective^^
also cause they'd be hilarious
Twyin Lannister.
Heck, he'd make a "good" Inquisitor.
Just to make it fitting, logical; Ciri since she can travel to other worlds.
Ciri vs Solas. An unknown factor he would never have imagined or dreamt of. ![]()
I would say J'zargo form Skyrim i just love his accent
Good one. He and Zev would get along famously.I would say J'zargo form Skyrim i just love his accent
