Any other renegades out there finding it impossible to avoid paragon points? I've even received paragon points after selecting the red renegade dialogue. What's up with that!?

I found it unavoidable getting some too.
I made on "in character" decision that gave me a massive Paragon injection - about 25 points or so.
Still, I finished nearly on full renegade and about 50% Paragon I suppose.

yes i hate those damn points. i want my renegade eyes not some pansy baby's butt smooth face with blues eyes!
my problem was i could never bring myself to be mean to tali and would end up getting ridiculous amounts of paragon from talking with her, in one case a whopping 20 points!

ya, you get some renegade points for doing, what id consider, paragon actions as well. the most paragon points i got in one chunk was 30 or so, and that was when i told legion to destroy the heretic geth on his loyalty mission. i did it for tali tbh. then later on through dialogue with legion, i learned the true plight of the geth and felt like a douche.

Its a lot easier to avoid renegade points. Im like full paragon and like a quarter of the first bar of renegade.

It's very weird
When you play as a Paragon, most of the time you get renegade points for being a good guy and selection all the blue action/talk actions. Vice versa for renegade.

I played through as a Paragon first now as a Renegade. As a Renegade I always feel like I'm getting Paragon points for no reason but I guess if you're saving the galaxy you have to expect some
