I have 2 Mass Effect 2 confessions:

1: I have not been able to get everyone to survive the suicide mission. No matter what I do, Mordin always dies.  I am doing another run thru now...I have read all the stuff online of what choices to make to ensure a full team extraction..but whats weird is I have made those decisions before..same damn thing happens...

2: I have not completed the survive the 5 waves in object rho..I suspect a vanguard would be preferential.

side-notes..I think that battle with the shadow broker's asari buddy was god damn epic.

and kasumi saying " ha,eat it"  after she would do a shadow strike made me laugh every time

I would seriously love a re-mastered version of ME2, using ME3's combat and leveling up systems.

Reason #1: unlike ME2 (which sucks), ME3MP has a huge range of weapons and this is one of the main reasons why the multiplayer is so great. You have a ton of options, many of which are effective and fun to use. No complaints here.

Reason #2: the multiplayer isn't constrained, influenced or ruined by a rubbish story. The reason why ME1SP, ME2SP and ME3SP all suck so much (they are the three worst games ever created) is because the story sucks so badly. Worst writing and laziest story-telling I have ever seen in a game. The weak writing and garbage story is what ruined the Mass Effect games and made them rubbish. This issue doesn't exist with the multiplayer because there is no story there. Which is a good thing, because the story is what ruined the mass effect games and made them suck so badly.

Reason #3: huge variety of characters, power combinations, gear bonuses, ammo types, weapon mods, maps, different enemy factions and different difficulty settings all contribute to diversity and replayability and these are the things which make ME3MP the closest thing to perfect.

Nooooooooooooooooo, I thought u were the cool negative guy

Getting everyone to survive Suicide mission is easy IMO. I usually have to deliberately try to get people killed. Mordin's the most likely squadmate to die, so he almost always gets either sent back with the crew or comes with me to fight the terminator (provided a squadmate is loyal, they will always survive these two things). If you have a loyal Grunt, Zaeed and Garrus, though, usually you can't get anyone killed unless you pick bad people for the specialist roles or bring your tough defenders (guys listed above) to fight the terminator.

In general my favourite team (assuming all are loyal) is
Vents: Tali
2nd fireteam leader: Garrus (both times)
crew escort: Mordin or Kasumi (who is 2nd most likely to die after him)
Biotic Bubble: Jack, with Mordin and Tali as combat squaddies for dealing with husk rush and Scions (area incinerate and drone trivializes them).
Terminator: Usually combination of Garrus, Mordin, Tali (who is 4th in line to die easiest after Mordin, Kasumi and Jack IIRC).

For object Rho, there's the pillar of destiny immediately to the left of where you spawn, behind the stairs, that you can just camp behind for the entire fight until the mech shows up if you wish. I think Infiltrator's the easiest because you can cloak and all the enemies freeze until you decloak, leaving a huge amount of time to relocate anywhere you like. Assault Armor spamming Sentinel is also easy simply because it can't be killed as long as you keep spamming that win armor. Oh, and LolMattock soldier because everything dies super fast.

Anyone who doesn't take Legion on the suicide mission and just let him solo it with the Widow is a noob.

Can even bring Miranda for her team bonuses.

TBH I think if ME: A fails and based on the game that was....Dragon Age Inquisition lol leads to the next Dragon Age doing bad, I think Bioware might be like "time to go back to the drawing board".  I don't think its a massive chance, but at some point in the future if a remastered or upgraded trilogy was made I wouldn't be surprised.

Pretty sure that's the one who spent a year stalking that Scandinavian girl and sending hate mail to anyone he thought was her friend. By "pretty sure" I actually mean "that's the guy."

Yep, provided all crew members are loyal.  All you have to do is leave behind the "battle-hardened soldiers" (Garrus, Grunt, & Zaeed) to fight alongside the remaining squad, and everyone will survive.

I usually bring 2 of Thane (Viper w/ Shredder ammo), Samara (Mattock!), or Legion (Widow!) to fight the giant cyper-puking baby boybot.

Squadmates are usually irrelevent to me in ME2, because I have no intention of keeping them alive. Essentially soloing Insanity is fun. But then, I play a Sentinel with Assault Rifle or Sniper training and Warp Ammo because it has an answer to everything. I just wish Cheat Armour was less of an I-Win button. But then, all the shield boosting powers were pretty OP, Geth Shield Boost being second best because of itws Weapon Damage boost.

You lost me there, had to look it up. That's a weird name for a teen drama, I thought it was like a police series or something at first.

What's it about really, #whitegirlproblems?

Should I be embarrassed that I used to watch The OC and owned some seasons on DVD?

Don't see the need for comparison but can say I've been enjoying ME2 SP a lot lately, a little bit more than ME3 MP recently.

Currently making a renegade fem shep engineer with shotgun training  ^_^

I watched a bit of the new version, with different scenarios every few episodes, like idk pregnant girlfriend, boyfriend spending more time with another girl more so than his girlfriend and a few I can't remember. Don't bother asking me why I even got into watching this in the first place.

I'm not only viewing it from my own perspective. I'm giving a balanced, unbiased evaluation. I would be lying if I were to say that any of the mass effect games are good. I'd be lying if I said that mass effect 2 was enjoyable. I'd be lying if I said the range of available weapons on ME2 was acceptable. I'd be doing a great disservice if I were to recommend these games to anyone (I would, however, highly recommend the multiplayer to everyone).

I'm not telling others that they're wrong. I just can't see any reason why anyone would consider the story of any of these games to be good. And you're right, I do feel VERY strongly about it. Otherwise I wouldn't have written that post. I sunk at least eighty hours into ME2, I completed every single mission and uncovered every single cutscene and line of dialogue, so it's fair to say that I've seen all of what this game has to offer. And I'm bitterly disappointed. Disappointed with the story, disappointed with the weapons, and disappointed with the game play. After those eighty hours that I spent playing this game, I can only conclude that this is the worst game ever. Even worse than ME1 (ME1 is the second worst game ever created btw). The only thing that I enjoyed about the game was reading the codex and that one cutscene with that vorcha on omega near Quarian Ken's salvage kiosk. Oh, and Veetor shouting "get away get away". That's it. The game sucks so bad. It's the worst game ever.

I can appreciate where you're coming from.  I do like running through ME2, but I honestly feel it's got too much boring, tedious, annoying, corny, etc portions of the story & gameplay.  Speaking of tedious, that's why I don't do Hardcore or Insanity runs any longer...armored husks.

ME2 is the reason why I'm into any of this, but I there is a ton of stuff I could live without.

90210 is the zip code for an upper class region in Beverly Hills. Which really tells you where the series went wrong, because it was supposed to be an adaptation of "Degrassi Junior High/Degrassi High.*" Which it most definitely did not end up being once they moved it to an upper class region of Beverly Hills.

What's it about really, #whitegirlproblems?

More like #reallyrichwhitegirlproblemsohandherdaddyistheshowsexecutiveproducerbutshhitstotallynotnepotismbecausehesaidso

*To spare you the google search if that isn't a familiar name either, Degrassi was a series set and filmed in Toronto about ordinary high school kids dealing with peer pressure, sex, alcohol, drugs, rumours, basically all the stuff that actually happens to high school kids but that an Aaron Spelling network show in prime time wouldn't touch with a ten-foot-pole.
