long time i havent asked a fundamental question like this !
I'm not sure, but you can prime them with a single cast of chain overload, so long as they don't sync-kill you (on Wave 3) first.
I understand AD question the other way around. Ie that if two mooks stands behind each other, the question is if you can prime them with one shot since the N7 Crusader has 1 slag (projectile) that could go through both (penetration = 0.5m). So if you have primed the troopers with, for example one warp iv ammo shot, you could detonate them seperately, afterwards. I've never tested this.

Now how does that work, exactly?

I think, to test it, the easiest would be Cryo, because of the visual effect. You'd want low-damage to avoid killing them, but you could play through a bronze or silver game aiming to catch two at once.
I'm not sure if Cryo has a 100% prime chance, or not. I think it does, just with a really long delay, but without being sure, it may be better to go with something like Incendiary IV, which would also have an easily-seen visual indicator, and would prime faster (but also might do enough damage to kill mooks outright and interfere with the test.)

mmm. Let's wait for AD to explain his question because there are already multiple interpretations (Ashevajak/Fuenf789) of his question. In the meanwhile, this is what I meant :
Your "how does that work" question can also be interpreted in various ways.
1) Read Darth Kilby's favourity me3 mp memories here Link. Read until "double headshot" with Mantis. Don't get diverted by the rest of the nostalgia posts.
2) Think shortly about where the enemies might stand in relation to you. Now visualize that.
3) now imagine your self aiming slightly lower than the heads. Yes, I know you prefer headshots, but just aim lower.
4) pull the trigger with the crusader.
Since the crusader suffers shieldgate those mooks won't die (not instantly, at least). Ammo Power Damage (APD) are applied before Actual Weapon Damage Impact. I'm not certain if APD applies along the path of the bullet for first enemy only or whether APD applies also to the second enemy also. If APD (Say Disrupter Ammo Power) also applies to second enemy, then you may techburst it with overload. this also applies to (Biotic=Warp Ammo/ Throw) or (Fire=Incen Ammo/ Warp). I have not tested this yet.

yeah my question is mostly: when u hit a target through another target, do u apply the priming effect to both ?
Let s say, with dirsruptor ammo, as that primes everything.
I guess so, cause when using AP rounds, and double hitting stuff, u apply the ammo damage twice (second one with a penetration fee though)

Warp ammo should prime. And be detonated by any detonating power in the game, regardless of tech or biotic in origin.
Human soldier / concshot spam would be much more interesting.

The standard BSN answer to these deep questions from best I can recall should be; "Figure it yourself and stop trolling with fundamental questions."

At least someone appreciates all the hard work I put in.
Though I think the other reference may have been too subtle. Admittedly the "single cast" reference was a different boss unit (and power)...but I gotta work with what I got.
