Hi,I'm wondering is it possible to make the conversation box and the texts bigger? I've already finished the official campaign with the way it is,but it would be much better if it's bigger. Thanks!

I don't think NWN has this possibility.
Yet...
The only way I know is to play at lower resolution. 1280 x 720 is perhaps a happy medium between graphic detail and text size.
Tchos' mod is the answer for NWN2, but for NWN about all you can do is what Proleric suggested, above.
Thanks, guess there's no way then...well,at least that problem was fixed in later BioWare games.

Box, apparently not, but you certainly can make the text bigger. On the main menu after starting the game, go to Options -> Video Options -> Advanced Video Options and then check the box "Use high resolution font" (IIRC it is the last one on the list). This can make the text much more legible at high resolutions. (Gruftlord already referred to this, but I thought I should make it quite clear that this option exists and what it is, since based on your screenshot you are not using it).
I like how some of Lilura's screen shots of Neverwinter Night modules have conversations cut and pasted into a big box down at the bottom of the screen ala Baldur's Gate style. To me, that is very visually appealing for reading - eyes centered, vs. eyes top right corner.

If there ever was a NWN:EE, this is one feature I would like to have myself.
FP!
Because NWN was made before the widescreen resolution that happened a few years ago, NWN does not like to be stretched. There are a few things you can try, but there is nothing out there that will change the size of the chat windows/gui.
You can try changing the resolution of the game. Sometimes this can revert NWN back to normal. You can set your video card to No Scaling. This has worked for me before on Nvidia cards. You can also set NWN to run on it's own video display, if adjusting the settings helps.
One other thing you can try, is to roll your video drivers back- however at this point you would probably have to roll it so far back that anything new wouldn't work. If you don't know what you are doing, this option has the greatest potential for screwing everything up.
good luck!

Phew~ this could help as well. The small texts can be tricky for me and other people with shortsighted eyes. And thanks to SHOVA as well, the game has been running flawlessly on my PC so far, just the texts,I hate to read them with my face so close to the screen that's all...thanks for all the suggestions above, problem solved! ![]()

Yeah, I never liked the top-left dialogue box in NWN.. I have always wished all dialogue (including player responses) was contained in a lower, centralized dialogue window, just like in the IE RPGs.
But I'll get my chance to whine about that when I treat its UI in Part IV of my User Interface Evolution. ![]()
