Hey there, I am still new and currently would love to play multiplayer but every time I try to join there are no games up.

Have a glance at some of the stickied threads, including the library for any questions you have.

 

If you're having problems finding games, there are 2 likely culprits to check first. One is that you have all 5 DLCs downloaded and installed (Reckoning, Earth, Retaliation etcetera.) The other is to check if your game version code starts with 1.5 or 1.6. If it starts with 1.6, you're probably in the U.K., and may need to use a workaround (I'm not sure if we have a thread for that yet.)

I came back to ME3MP a little while back, had a hankering for some space magic.

 

I'm keeping an eye on the Andromeda forum when I'm not banned but I have very little optimism, considering how terrible the DA:I MP was.

The sticky thread saying "readme first" has a hidden message / codeword on the first post to get past our two - very watchful - big Dobermann trolls. Find it and say it and you'll find a nice bunch around the "stammtisch" in the Tavern.

Mark put it there to see if someone is really new or just another alt - it's often changed and placed somewhere else - the veterans will never read howtos (it's akin go hiding something under the soap bar for sailors in the middleages). To date it has served us well. Hark all, Prost to Mark!

I've played for the first time this morning after finishing trilogy for like 5th time.

MP looks healthy - i've played with 3-4 other players

I've played it recently for an hour, I took out the good ole vanilla human infiltrator for a spin with my trusty claymore. The first gold game I played, was not surprising to say the least when I played my first gold game and then just from that single gold game I realise why I decided to take that long hiatus from ME3 MP in the first place.

 

It was a standard typical pug game with me ,just carrying the team on one of the more, in my opinion difficult combinations, firebase london with cerberus on gold while off host

If Destiny, BF, FOIV, COD, KOTOR are any sign to go by - this is a trend that more and more volumes of people are going to be there even in ME:A.

That means that apart from that core of hard gamers types of 1980-2012 -> that wants to tediously increase their experience levels, through time investment, highly immersive over 2-3 hours per day (some even more) - there are -also -

many other breeds that needs to be catered for in their own way. These breed of players may want a quick fix (ie 100 sessions @ 5 minutes each (ala minecraft style) / max 15 min of highly intense of 30s blasts) as you can see vividly joining in the PC arena (PC has the lowest cost entry criteria- and can be reused for other purposes and the new breeds doesn't like time dependent complex mechanisms). The modern 12-22 year old gamer generation are lightningly fast but with ultra short concentration spans. Me:a cannot assume all groups want the same so they have to cater for wider audiences - by focusing what that segment like but also allow easy conversion to other parts of the game (ie through freemium models)

The only way to not feel frustrated will increasingly be through communities of likeminded people...

Serious business talk now... I have been pugging silver on ps3 the past 3 nights to replenish my supply of consumables...and yes, it is taking a little while longer for lobby's to fill up.
