Here is the deal, my hard drive died just before i could finish the game (i was going to go through the Omega 4 Relay) and i dont have the patience to restart the game all over again.

I just want to know if i can edit the save file to be at the same point in the main quest or even just before the IFF mission.

I figured how to edit everything else in the save but i dont find the quest IDs / trigger / flags to put me at this mission. If there is a list somewhere with this kind of data or if somebody know how to do it, that would save me a lot of time !

Yep, i just dont find what i need to enable or check in the editor to trigger the quests checkpoints-

I'm having a similar issue.

 

I sold the geth to Cerberus. I didn't realize that would permanently lose him. So I'm now trying to undo that choice. The only save I have is right after making that decision.

So here's what I tried:

 

Under "Raw" tab, -> ME2 Plot Table -> Quest IDs
3433 = Reaper IFF
1783 = Stop the collectors

How I figured the quest ID numbers out:
I went ingame and expanded the quest I wanted to reset, then counted how many entries there were (for Reaper IFF there were 5-6). Then since I recently finished it I started working my way down from last entry under "QuestProgress", clicking on each quest, then clicking on the "History (Collection)" and seeing how many entries there were under "members". I tried the first one with 5-6 entries and removed all but the first one (0), then changed "QuestUpdated" from "False" to "True".

Then I went to the only other entry that was "true" under "QuestProgress", and the number of entries correlated with "Stop the collectors", so I just removed one entry under "History (Collection)" in order to get "Reaper IFF" back.

I also went to "Plot" tab, -> ME2 Plot Table -> Flags -> and unchecked "IFF acquired". Which I tried previously, and by itself isn't enough. By itself it gets you into the level but the doors are all shut.

This successfully brings the quests back on the map and in the journal, but when I click the "Reaper IFF" quest (unexpanded) it still says I finished it and sold the geth, and when I go into the mission the doors are still shut.

EDIT: Hmm, simply save editing legion on my team after selling him did give me "Legion: a house divided" anyway, after doing "Dossier: Tali", which was the next mission after selling Legion.
