When dealing with custom made spells, where is the actual code that defines their attributes located?  I have looked through the module's TLK, 2DA and HAK files with no luck.  I am currently dealing with a chant that drains levels, but I am attempting to alter it to drain intellect.

There is an include script in the module that adds the new draining chant currently used to the 2DA file when the module launches, but I am drawing a blank on where the actual spell would be located pre-load.  Nothing seems to point to a script.  I may simply need to attempt to create it from scratch, which will of course open it's own special can of rotten spam.

I realize this information is a bit sketchy, but any thoughts our comments would be appreciated.

Each spell is a full script on its own.  They're located in scripts.zip, scripts_X1.zip and scripts_X2.zip, but you can open them from the toolset in the normal list of scripts as well.  I don't have them handy now, but if you search for part of the name of a uniquely-named spell, you should find where they are.

sometimes it's easier/faster to search Spells.2da, because the label column there is a bit more descriptive than a filename. The ImpactScript column is the spellscript
