So I've created Female Mage and noticed some real damage differences between Solas and my Female Mage. Solas is literally dealing 2 times more damage (with abilities and basic attacks) than the Inquisitor, both using same gear and same skills leveled. Attributes seem to be almost equal. So what's the problem? Is this a bug or it's supposed to be that way?
Does your lady mage or Solas have a sigil in their armor or weapons? You might also check their accessories if they have something damage boosting/reducing. If not, then I have no idea what's wrong.

That's the thing, no sigils no amulets no rings 
Are they using different elemental damage against the same enemy?
For example, a number of demons and undead are resistant to lightning or frost damage, while weak to fire damage. My gal mostly used lightning and frost damage while Solas used fire damage, so he did more damage against certain demons and undead.

I wish it was the case, but it's not. Same monster, same spells, same gear ...

Solas is probably secretly wearing magical accessories, lying to you about them and pretending he's not.
Huh, so I wasn't just imagining things. I always wondered how is it that having similar builds, but sometimes less crit (or crit dmg) Solas churns out similar or more damage to Inky or the rest.
...I guess it's the ancient godly thing
