I don't know about the Pulse thing normally i "run" around on Plat with a weapon damage specced ap ammo regaar Juggy with adrenaline 3 heal turret and PPR as a back up  which can be pretty awesome to play, the adrenline mod is great on juggy because it makes you much more flexible in dealing with bosses, like keeping distance from banshees without getting knocked around, avoiding brute charges like a matador generally i i get less in situations with it that does not favour me...  Pulse i only use for the DR.

This is one of the few builds were i like taking on Dragoons, the Jugger light melee is key to stun them before going for headshots, sadly this does not work on Phantoms which are my main source of being downed as a jugger.

We need a forum Jugg.  That thread got nuked off the face of the earth.  That's like the third one in a week.  Maybe a lock was coming, but nuked?

Pure tank build with shield turret.

Thing is shield and melee are situationally great but 99.99% of jug pugs are dumb as heck and think that's all you're supposed to do when they're really the last resorts

I don't know about entertainment,  i tried the powerspam build sometime ago, very effective with all the fire explosions but  i love pushing through spawns with a reegar on plat  while going for headshot gold more instead of then my more more passive interpretation of the powerbuild approach  where i waited more behind a shield .(maybe i played it wrong)

played jugg a few times, saw how agonizingly slow it moved even with an adrenaline module, decided to never even try to think about the piece of garbage I kept getting in those first few packs when the DLC dropped.

By power build I guess I mostly mean regularly firing siege pulses with occasional situational use of turret or shield, but as long as you're having fun and not dying I'm not gonna complain.

what i think of your jugs:

Haha best possible use of cobra right here (with swarm removal)

I don't mind having Jugs in my team when players handle them well, shields can be annoying but a good Jug can be a good asset on higher difficulties.

I say this because it's not so rare to get players that die 20 times per waves, the sad thing is, sometimes that player is a Juggy...

I don't enjoy playing them myself because of the speed and manoeuvrability bt what the hell, maybe I'll come around some day.

Pffft powers. It´s a jug, give him the biggest gunZ ( <- that capital z grants +500 ePeen ) in ur arsenal and have him lay waste to your enemies and/or pugs.

But yeah, if you don´t siegepulse, you are doing it wrong.

Siege Pulse saves the Juggernaut from uselessness.

If we pretend for a moment that you can't fire Siege Pulse, you end up with a character as slow as a Spitfire Destroyer with no run button, who can't take cover, so takes bonus (read: extra) damage from enemies at all times, the 40% DR doesn't really cover the extra damage you take. So, you are vulnerable, and take forever to get to enemies, so Bioware gave them camping tools, because PUGs suck at this game. So Pug hides with Large Hex Shield, Healing Turrent, and Heavy Melees until they die, good trap for the idiots pugs. If they DON'T die/camp, they have to chase down enemies.... at snail's pace, they'll be dead before they get there, IF they are lucky.

If we now stop ignoring the Glorious Geth Prime Blasts Siege Pulse firing ability, the Juggernaut now has a ranged attack, and a good one at that. Damage/shot can be raised to 3,000 damage to defenses, which is not small. Plus it detonates all tech combos. Got a Paladin? Greek wedding time. Got a Flamer? PRETTY FIREWORKS! (reserved for some positive words about Tech Bursts)! Just slap some Incendiary Ammo on your gun and BAM! Self made Fireworks exploding enemies! Juggernaut can now dish out some serious damage.

tl;dr ROCK THAT SIEGE PULSE!

With a Spifire X, AR amp III and AP IV or Incendiary IV you can still do quite a bit of damage with the Juggernaut, a SP spam build with a gun like the Lancer is more effective, but the Spitfire set-up isn't to bad either, if I remember correctly Loufi did a couple of solos with it.

Yes. The solos weren't fast but relatively easy. Incendiary rounds complement well the Spitfire's damage bonus VS shields and allow you to get fire explosions for even more crowd control. And since this gun has also a high sustained dps, Spitfire Juggy is actually a very decent combo, even for platinum.

Was it Reapers you soloed btw? I can imagine Cerberus can be a bit of a challenge with all the Goons.

For those of you using Large Hex Shield outside of solos: STOP IT! SHOVE YOUR OBNOXIOUS SHIELD UP YOUR ROBOTIC BEHIND!

Not a chance.

Large hex shield is pretty cool.

TNS.

Brevity is the soul of wit  -You probably need to categorize which part of it is cool then -

u meant 1) for solo, 2) around objectives / to protect or 3) to keep bosses occupied  or 4) @chokepoints like in the video above to inhibit other coop players to shoot through it...

No, Cerberus. For Dragoons I quickly primed them then spammed Siege Pulse to death. But yes, I needed to stay constantly on the move to not be overwhelmed. Adrenaline module 3  helped a lot for that. The pets saved me several times too.

Categorizing would diminish its coolness and would be an insult to the power.

It's pretty simple : the large Hex Shield looks like bee cells ; bees are insects, such as Collectors ; TNS loves Collectors.

Gotcha! - as long as collectors are in the Pic it's cool for TNS.

Yep extra shot for 33% more glorious fire explosions

This right here is exactly my strategy.  I like to use the Spitfire on him, and you can prime a lot of enemies for fire explosions with that gun.  I normally play Gold though, so I guess if you're playing Platinum where there are more bosses, you might want to consider the extra damage evolution.
