So Bethesda games usually have this aspect in which were you can climb up and around things by simply jumping rapidly on an inclining asset? Well why not make a real climbing mechanic for the next Dragon Age, one that allows for similar exploration but actually works like climbing. It could work similar to how it does now in terms of out of bounds, where you either get sent back to where you start from, or you simple cannot pass a invisible one. I think it's more a immersion feature but one that makes the idea of exploration in large more interesting.

For some strange reason...and I have no idea why since it can be frustrating at times, I find the challenge in jump-climbing very fun. I create my own objectives - "I bet I can make it to that cliff over there" and see if I can. I did it in Skyrim too, and often at Shadowmere's expense, but it was worth it.

With that said, if they were to implement a climbing mechanic in the next DA, I wouldn't complain. I am sure I can still find topographical challenges and objectives for myself.
