Not owning NWN 2 (yet) can anyone shed some light as to what creatures are included in the NWN 2 toolset?
Also, on a separate note, can a module made using the NWN 1 toolset be imported into the NWN 2 toolset?
Thanks

A list would be difficult but you could get a good idea from:

There are more than that but this was the last time I know that someone attempted to collate the work of cc creators.
As for your second question, the answer is no, not directly. They are build in different ways. There is some content being ported across though.

There's what looks like a decently thorough list in the nwn2.wikia.com creature category. I'm trying to maintain a list of the additional creatures available here.
Unfortunately, as PJ mentions there isn't a way at present to do a direct conversion. For porting from NWN1 to NWN2, I've resorted to using both toolsets and doing copy-pastes of the scripts, conversation, and description entries. Otherwise, it's pretty much build areas from scratch and transcribe creature stats, skills, feats, and gear. Porting from an existing NWN module does save quite a bit of time in some ways though, as you don't need to create a module from scratch; all of the ideas and concepts are there for you to replicate. Presumably it also saves some testing time as well.
Somebody with familiarity with both systems and the necessary coding skill could probably build some porting helper tools.
Any scripts you wrote for NWN1 can also be used in NWN2, sometimes with minor modification, sometimes as-is.
I was not aware of this, but apparently you can export a NWN conversation to a .erf file, then import it into NWN2. I definitely need to try that.

I believe I did that once, but it was with some of the official campaign conversations, which if I recall correctly used string references to the TLK file instead of having the actual text in the conversations, so I couldn't get much out of it for my purposes. That, and the fact that they basically used entirely new scripts for every situation instead of general-purpose parameterised scripts. But for user-made modules, it should be fine.
