yo so im about 8 hours into dragon age, at that small town north of the wilds. Lotherin or something.
but anywho, im a mage and im still wearing those mage robes i got from completing the Harrowing.

does gear get cool lookin in this game?
honestly, that is my only complaint about this game, and its a small one.
just wondering is all.

The gear in Dragon age is pathetic, 90% of it is just new textures on old models.

It was said that there was a big investment to DA:O in the near future.

Though the info is directed to RTO, Victor Wachter did state that the "investment" went far beyond RTO and the Awakening add-on. So maybe something will come regarding the asthetics of the armor and weapons. We'll have to wait and see.

Wonders of Thedas in Denerim sells different robes. You can go there right from Lothering, but some of the robes might be too expensive for you at this point--Wonders is not a cheap store. If you're on the fence about getting a particular robe, save your game before buying it, see how it looks on you, and if its appearance is objectionable enough to make you regret purchasing it, reload.



Also, if you have the Warden's Keep DLC, the robes you can get in it don't look shabby in the least. They're pretty snazzy royal blue threads.
