Feels are an essential component of any Mass Effect game.

Consider this scene from the end of the Citadel DLC:

Moments like this are the reason I love Mass Effect and Bioware games in general.

I hope to encounter numerous feels in the upcoming game.

Bioware, you must construct additional pylons feels.

Of course, there are different kinds of feels: nostalgia, sadness, awe, etc.

That is why I have created this thread.

What types of feels you would like to see in Andramada?

I remember the feels of grunts and the cureing the genophage missions in ME3

I stood up and saluted my screen in those defining moments.

As Legion being my brobot. Hearing him say "I" before sacrificing himself got me in the feels.

The feels I got when I saw Kaidan for the first time at Horizon in Mass Effect 2 were magical. He was a big jerk though.

Sweet Maker, there are so many to choose from, how can you just choose one?!? lol

The Citadel party :D An amazing way to farewell the crew of the ME series, although a drunk Krogan in your shower could be a problem lol B) #ILoveYouGrunt

Grunt's stand against the Rachni.. I seriously cried cause I thought he dies, then when he comes out all bloody, I swear I jumped outta my seat and did the happy dance with tears still streaming down my face lmao..

The one that always gets me is the ending of ME3, Admiral Anderson dies next to Shep; and if you played as I do (Colonist, Lone Survivor) its like Shep just lost his/her family all over again :( Then of course the scene of Joker standing by in the Normandy waiting for as long as he could for Shep, brought me back to ME2 when Shep gets Joker off the SR1 before it blows up and ends up getting spaced saving Joker

I spent more time being misty or teary in ME than anything else in my life.

Tabarnak, I like to think of myself as being relatively masc and in frame most of the time, but every time I play ME it's like some alien device gives me the emotional stability of a twelve year old girl for the duration. I'm not complaining but sheesh.

Pretty much all of Shep and Kaidan's relationship stuff

Virmire

"I remember me"

Shep saving her old friend squadmate Toombs

Benezia and Liara

Shep going off to stop the Reapers and the ending credits of ME1

Shep's meltdown at the council for walking on her legacy in ME2

Tali's trial and after her dad dies

Legion in ME2

Garrus getting wounded

Samara's story

Thane's story

The final scene with Jack's friendship in ME2

Seeing David Archer for the first time

Suicide Mission

Leaving Earth

James' past

Pretty much the entire emotional state of 3

Tuchanka

Mordin's sacrifice

Rannoch

Mesanna-Distress Signal

Citadel Party

Thessia

The Elcor Ambassador trying to save his people in ME3

Shep's realization she was being used the entire time in 2 during Cronos

The Battle for Earth

the fact it all had to end...

And his list was just off the top of my head too. =x

Someone needs a hug, lol.

Agree with Legion too. Shame they made him so different in ME3 with the whole "Geth finding their own path" and stuff but still he's my brobot.

The feels?  I want them all!  I want to squee, to happy dance, to fist pump and shout.  I want to howl and rage and sit slack-jawed with shock and or awe.  I want my lower lip to wibble while I surreptitiously wipe away a tear.  I want to wish for a hug mod.  I want to curse, in frustration and appreciation.

Meh, I don't expect much out of BioWare, do I?

This scene with Liara from Mass Effect 3. As someone who loves history and thinks about time and historical perspectives on events I loved this scene. Especially, when Liara says "How would you like history to remember you?", that really struck me in the feels, especially with the great music in this scene.

LOL, I need a stiff drink is more like it.

Yeah, I liked Legion in ME3 but I don't know... There was something really nice and special about him in 2 that got sort of lost in transition. I wish he could have been a squadmate in 3 or something. It kind of would have been poetic to start out battling the Geth in 1, only to team up with one of them to save the Galaxy in 3, and especially nice considering he's barely playable at all in 2 unless you're willing to screw the story up by doing the Derelict Reaper too early.

After everything you go through to get this one scene and in the context of the entire relationship. (I would have picked her every time if it were a proper romance.)

*sigh*

I want a cowboy bebop ending like scene, to this day it is the only thing to have caused me to shed a tear. There's an alternate ending as well but watch this and then picture it portrayed in ME.

the begnning of mass effect 2, when the normandy explodes and shepard is loosing oxygen and falls to an unknown planet, and then he is been found,
and beeing with jack right before the suicide mission hearing the music "reflections" way too much, and then the entire suicide mission in mass effect 2, my god, the most intense feels in any game to date, (in fact the entire mass effect 2) and taking earth back, talking to garrus and to the fenders in earth, and running to the beacon, and  when shepard was injured on the cathalyst and have to choose one of the ending colours,

too much

The one scene of the trilogy that got me real hard (and wasn't expecting it, I just hit the wall at top speed) was in Mass Effect 2, when Tali discovers her dead father on board the Alarei. What mostly contributed to the poignant nature of the scene was - for me - Liz Sroka's voice acting, it was essentially perfect. It was one of the very few scenes of the trilogy that actually made me cry, not just "tearing up a bit". I was sobbing, and I had to pause the game. I think I also clapped for five seconds and said out loud "BioWare * sniff * you fu- * sniff * -erks, good job". I have to say, however, in context, at the time my cousin's father had passed away from cancer something like barely two months prior to the game's release. I knew the man well since I've known my cousin since age 9 or 10, we've been like brothers more than cousins. So yeah, admittedly it played a part in my emotional reaction. But to this day, just thinking about that scene induces sadness.

"I remember me"

Pascalle-West-outrageous-fortune-3284255

ME1 didn't have many moments like that, I think that's why it was so spot-on. Too much of it can desensitize you and/or drain you to the point where they don't affect you anymore.

I Am The Very Model of a Scientist Salarian, the encore

Sadly, it's the parts that hurt the most that I remember the best, but it's for the good if they hurt in a way that somehow feels right--and that scene really did.

If Mordin had to go, that was the perfect way for it. Thank you, Bioware. More please.

Also, the moment when Wrex said my Shep was like his sister. Basically, most of the Tuchanka arc on a Paragon run works as an example of exactly how much emotionality I want in my RPG.
