My most favorite games

 

1. Dark Souls series - this is my first on the list, no medieval fantasy games can get this off my list now.

2. Dragon Age : Origin - this goes second, have a mix of adventure, drama, epicness, sadly the later series are not like the original

3. Skyrim - good environment, adventure, but lack story, full of glitches and bugs

4. Age of Mythology Titan - RTS game, i like mythology and history of the ancients, this game is a good mix of fantasy and real myth

5. Total War series - not an RPG. I like this game because i like history and i like ancient warfare

6. KotOR - i like Star Wars, that's the main reason, sadly the later is rushed and then TOR happen...

7. Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne - classic RTS game, no reason not to like this game

8. Diablo 2 - old medieval fantasy hack and slash game that i invest too much time with it

9. Freespace 2 - old space "top gun" game, once make me feel like want to become a space pilot

10. Star Craft - i remember those times where i don't have enough minerals to build more pylons....

Wow, this thread is giving me nostalgia    So many titles I played.

 

Although Bioware titles are among my favourite games (especially DA:O, ME2, Jade Empire), I'm not sure I'd count any of them as my favourite game ever. There are too many to choose from.

 

I wouldn't love RPGs so much without Final Fantasy 6 (first Final Fantasy for me, GBA version, FF7 hasn't got the nostalgia factor on me). There are other enjoyable RPG experiences like the awesome Malkavian run in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. I love strategy, so how can I start comparing Age of Empires, Total War and Crusader Kings to Bioware games? And combining the two, Fire Emblem.

 

And then there's Portal, and Saints Row, and Analogue: A Hate Story. And Tetris. Nothing can beat Tetris, Tetris beats you.

Ooooh, I saw someone group the series together, so that may be what I have to do.

 

1st and 2nd Place (tied): Zelda Series/Dragon Age Series.  

 

I used to be headstrong for Zelda, but since playing Dragon Age, there has been an obsession that I haven't had in a long time. Such a good thing. 

 

3rd:.... Assassin's Creed Series/Fable Series?

 

It is hard for me to chose. I love a lot of games, but I recently started Assassin's Creed from scratch. Plus I debated putting Fable (I only count Fable I, II, and III - nothing else) but .... This is really hard.

The only roleplaying experience I've had on the computer.

What is your favorite game of all is it still a Bioware game or is it one from another game developer.

 

My favorite game of all is Skyrim second is Dragon Age Inquisition and the third is The Witcher 3. 

 

So what is your favorite game of all and second and third.

 

But i really like the KotOR series as well and i still play them from time to time i wish Bioware would remaster them with new graphics.

 

 

 

 

P.s. i don't know if Bioware will let me keep this OP on this forum lets see how sportive they are or do i get another warning 

 

edit. But there are still a lot of games that i really like to but then my list would be sooo long i name one Beyond Good and Evil really liked that game as well.  

 

Love the Dragon Age series, but, TES will always be first, then Fallout, then Dragon Age, then Dragon's Dogma, then everything else (and Lord knows I have a lot of else!).  Oh!  And Witcher 1, 2 & 3 - all good.  If you couldn't guess, I have a bit of a genre fixation.

Well, I'm going to say BW games in general because they're the only games I've ever pre-ordered as well as bought side swag and books.

 

Sooo, yeah at the end of the day, I'm still BW trash.

 

Other than that, off the top of my head, in no particular order, I would say.....

 

Wolfenstein:New Order

Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed Black Flag

Tomb Raider

TW3

Sleeping Dogs

Saint's Row 2

 

I have to give a shout out to FF10 and FF12 as well as Grandia from awhile ago.

 

I know I'm forgetting others.

 

edit: oh, and honorable mention to FO4 and Dragon's Dogma. Not my all time favorites, but they were very memorable, good games for me.

I remember those...i don't like Command and Conquer because it look cartoony, i prefer Star Craft...Diablo 1 only have one place to explore, going down and down, and down...never played Dungeon Siege

Everyone has their own tastes, but I have to say reading this thread thus far is kind of refreshing.  Even with the thread being posted in the DA: I section.  Many of you give me hope.  Some good lists.  That is all.

Bloodborne and Dark Souls. I love both equally.
Street Fighter II because nostalgia.
The Dragon Age series of course.

But since my first love is fighting, Fight Night Champion would probably be my favourite.
While I have my nitpicks about the game (the lack of importance of the jab being a big one), it's a lot of fun and my preferred style (Counter Punching) is really rewarding.

All time's a bit difficult to answer. So far the only one I can name for certain is my top pick, the rest of them are sort of out of order:

 

1. Witcher 3(then Witcher 1 and 2)
2. DA: Origins
3. Mass Effect(the first two, and to a lesser degree the third as well)
4. Assassin's Creed 2
5. Civilization V(although might as well be IV, haven't played the previous)
6. KOTOR
7. Medieval 2 Total War
8. Saint's Row 4

And I dunno, probably a few others. DAI is noticeably absent from the list, yeah, but while it's an alright game, it's not a great one. It did not give me an experience that I'll remember 20 years from now, like the others on the list did.

Yes me to i remember those games as well i played Diablo 1 and 2 and also Dungeon Siege one and two.

You asked a question. I gave an answer. I haven't played pong in over 35 years. But I still have good memories of playing the game against family members and neighbors. Are there better games? Sure, but for me, Pong will always be number one.

You are right about Skyrim and the bugs though for me Skyrim is the best game ever but also the worse game ever. And with worse i mean the bugs the glitches and the frame rate drop. I am unfortunately on PS 3  so that is the worse platform of them all. But still if i look beyond the bugs and the rest then Skyrim is still my number one game of all.

 

But i guess with such a huge game it is impossible to get it bug free.
