What's OP? It's a serious question I honestly don't know

Do what I do: Wait for the fully patched, all-DLC-included, Game-Of-The-Year version to come out before you decide to play. By then we'll all know if you need to be anxious or not.  (I literally just finished ME3 for the first time)

I guess I sounded a bit crazy and insane. I over exaggerated and I came across as obsessive and that this is the only thing I care about. It's not. I just wanted legit replies. I'm perfectly healthy lol I just like video games and I really wanted some intellectual opinions on this matter. But, I've honestly gotten most the opposite.

I understand completely. It can be difficult to get your point across sometimes, I mean I should know, I'm often misunderstood because I can't word myself the way I want to since English isn't my main language. For what it's worth I never thought you were crazy or anything and if you were then I'd never think it would be a bad thing, since most people are boring being plain xD

Thank you, yeah I could do that. But at the same time, I want to experience it the same time everyone else does. I want to play the game in it's rawest state, before all the DLC and criticism it receives. So, I can give in my own criticism without being biased after exposed to what other people say.

Also, I'm very curious as to what you thought of ME3? Did you enjoy it?

For someone whose first language isn't English, you speak it incredibly well! More so than most native speakers lol I really appreciate your kindness and respectfulness towards me too. A lot of people on here are just looking for fights and ways to get me angry, I guess. But yeah, I'm not very great at expressing myself either, but you know I'll keep trying. I added a note to my original post so it'll be clearer for people that I'm not crazy xD

Thank you and you're welcome :) I always believe that kindness will make people get a lot further xD

Don't worry about those who wish to fight, there will always be such people, sadly you can't change that. If you don't give them the attention they desire however, they'll eventually stop. Spend your attention on the better people here, there are lots of them still :)

I know, I want to get my hands on it too, but given how many AAA games release almost broken with so many bugs nowadays, not to mention paid DLC at or near launch, I've found happiness playing a lot of major games a year down the road. Also I play on a PC so the potential for game enhancing modding is always a big reason to wait for me.

As far as the original trilogy goes, I decided if I was going to play ME3, I'd start over, so I played all 3 games in a straight run, importing the previous character each time. (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS) So the emotional investment was pretty high and intense and I have to say that overall I loved it. What a phenomenal and spectacular accomplishment of video game creation!  Seriously, I don't know what else I'm going to play now, now that the bar is so high. My enjoyment was such that I was able to not mind the ending. Partly I guess because I was forewarned so my expectations weren't too high, and while I agree with every complaint made about the ending, the rest was so amazing it didn't bother me.

It's too early to tell.

But given that it's a BioWare game, I think it's reasonable to expect the following, at least to some degree:

1) A fully-voiced, customizable protagonist

2) Said protagonist is "exceptional" in some way, with perhaps a few options regarding our character's past

3) A variety of character classes to fit different playstyles

4) A plethora of squadmates with engaging backstories and hopefully a loyalty mission or two

5) A nuanced morality system that lets you play a "Hero" or "Anti-Hero"

...

I could go on.

Go with what's mostly been said, just wait, DON'T get anxious, and keep an open mind when playing it.

I'm glad your experience was so positive! Mine was too, very much so. Honestly the ending seemed very fitting to me and wrapped up the trilogy appropriately. Mass Effect 3 in it's entirety was a near perfect game, IMO, the ending included. I couldn't have been any happier with the result. However, I will admit that the main reasons why it was so enjoyable was because of the DLC. Citadel especially. The best one, by far.

Well I'm pleased that ME: A will most likely still have the main aspects of the previous games, glad that won't change. Thank you for your input and advice. It's much appreciated!

Even if MEA turns out to be bad or disappointing it's not like the past ME trilogy goes away because of it. You might get a game that you may not like as much as you thought you would but the trilogy you enjoy so much will still be there and available for you at any time.  At least that's how I'd look at it then again I, most of the time, wait until the price falls enough where I won't be spending that much on it. Which, for me at least, does help soften the blow of a bad game a lot of the time.

Funny thing for me was since I started it with all the DLC I didn't even realize the Citadel was DLC until the tongue-in-cheek dialogue clued me in to the fact that this was a whole different feel, and it was basically a big goodbye from Bioware to your Shep. And when I did realize it, I had to reload an earlier save so I could make sure I could have every single person I could in the party photo. See my profile pic. I couldn't even say it was the best one, because playing them all straight thru I barely recognize them as separate games.

But to bring this back on track my only real anxiety for ME4 (if it's great then it's great, if its not, I'll skip it and replay the trilogy) is if by some slight chance that my final choices in the ending of ME3, affects ME4 (How awesome would that be?).  Which is why I'm keeping my ME3 installed and my save ready to replay the ending if I need to  ;)

I really am hoping for that as well! I mean it only would make sense that Shepard lives on a legend and everyone in the future as heard of her/him, recognizing what Shepard did. In that case, our choice in endings would be referenced to. But I'm pretty sure the canon ending in ME: A would be destroy. I'm just very curious as to how choices like synthesis would play out.

:)

We don't know much. Just remind yourself that the trilogy won't stop existing whether or not you like this game.

Also, it might be a good idea not to follow the hype too closely. When I let myself get too caught up in how much I was looking forward to DAI, it made it more disappointed when I didn't completely love it. This game will probably be very different from 1,2, and 3, so it may be better to prepare for the possibility that this game won't be everything you're hoping for rather than worrying about whether it will.

Totally agree in principle, though DAI is a rare case where I think following it closely let me enjoy the game more. I dislike open world style games, but knew from pre-release info that DAI was going to go for a more exploration-and-space route, and that let me calibrate my expectations accordingly.

The synthesis choice is exactly what I had in mind.

Loved the Wolf Among Us btw.  I don't know if a sequel is planned or what's happening but I'm hoping. Saw your avi and I just needed to say this. :P

Me too. I think the rumors are The Walking Dead S3 is fall this year and The Wolf Among Us S2 will be sometime in 2017.

Not gonna lose any sleep over Andromeda personally, there are more important things out there to worry about.

Even the poor BioWare games have been solid enough for me and I'm sure this game will be good enough too.

If it is going to suit the tastes of most on here will be another question though.

They're doing a Marvel series next year too. I'm really hoping they'll do a Tales From the Borderlands S2 since I loved the first season.

That's how I feel, I'm excited for Andromeda but I'm not going to drive myself crazy over it. I've liked a lot of the past games from Bioware too.

Lol I think I speak it very well as well, my problem is wording myself in English, that can be hard sometimes! And I have an accent, I probably sound silly. But people tell me I have the most wonderful voice ever so I guess that makes up for it! :)
