Hello Bioware. I just installed ME2 and i checked prices of DLC's. Guys, maybe there is some option to take it down a little bit? This game has 6 years. I'm not talking about download it for free, but when EA give us quite nice games for free on the Origin, this DLC all the time costs the same - a lot! I would like to buy some, but for now it's overkill. Cheers

There are occasional sales, you could wait for one, I bought what was it...Lair of the Shadow Broker for half price like three years ago I think.

DLC is worth it, especially Shadow Broker.  Overlord is good too.

If you're on a Xbox 360 or PS3, there are 50% off sales now and again on XBL and PSN, respectively, so if you're on one of those platforms, just wait for the next sale.  If you're on a PC however, you're pretty much screwed, considering the last time one could get discounted Bioware points from EA themselves was in October of 2011 with an Origin promo code, although Gamestop was selling them for 33% off during the last holiday season (only for the US, however), that and EA/Bioware seems to think of the PC gaming community is worth the same as that of used condoms or toilet paper...

As for the relative worth of the price of said DLC?  Well, back in 2010, I didn't have any problem shelling out $7-10 each for the price of Overlord, LotSB or even Arrival.  But that was 5-6 years ago.  It's ridiculous that you can get the base game for under $10 on Steam or Origin on sale, but if you want any of the DLC which really adds to the story (aside from arguably Arrival...), you need to shell out several times as much as you paid for the game itself (moreso if you buy the weapon/armor packs and appearance packs).

As it stands, if you want a similar discount for the PC that console gamers have been able to enjoy on a fairly regular basis, your only real legal(-ish) recourse is to use a VPN and pretend you're from a former Soviet republic to take advantage of the pricing differences of those regions...I'm sure someone on these forums will quite gladly show you a link on how to do so, should they see this thread...

I didn't get Lair of the Shadow broker.  I think I got overlord in the version I got but I didn't play it.  I got the two companions and the thing where you can do the backstory comic called Genesis.  Anyways what I wanted to say is I had a great time without those and played most without the two companions or Genesis.
