Question on explosive strike. I understand that a series of hits just prior to explosive strike greatly increase its damage. So, do I wait for a series of strikes, pause, and then issue the explosive strike command? Or can I activate explosive strike, which then will automatically explode after the series of hits? Or can I hit one enemy with a series, walk around, then activate explosive strike which will produce increased damage with my next hit?

Once you take Unforgiving Chain, you'll see a circle start to build around the attack icon on your target every time you do a basic attack. Each segment of the circle will raise your Critical Hit chance by 1% (up to 10% when you have a full circle). The circle segments will persist when you change targets, but will reset if you use a skill or if you go more than a few seconds without attacking. Explosive Strike will use the segments for "fuel" to do more damage, giving extra damage for each segment in the chain (again, up to 10 segments). At full strength, it's about as strong as Twin Fangs, IIRC, though in my experience, it's pretty difficult to really exploit it effectively.
