Sorry to be a noob, hope that question makes sense.

I just acquired Mass Effect, and the N7 versions of 2 and 3, for the PC after major issues with the Trilogy on Playstation (couldn't get the free DLC to work). I'd just like to know if the Extended Cut DLC is included, and if not, where can I get it, as it doesn't appear to be on Origin, unless I'm being a bigger idiot than I thought. Also would be interested if someone can explain what, if anything, is different/special about the 'N7' versions?

Thanks.

The "N7" versions come with extra things Shepard can use. Armor, weapons, and some cosmetic items.

The Extended Cut is free for all versions of ME 3. Right click on the ME 3 icon and choose "More details" to get a look at what DLC is available and/or installed. You will also be able to download the free DLC for multiplayer and any other free DLC, without paying anything.

I downloaded this version of ME3 from Origin on Friday and although it didn't SAY anywhere that Extended Cut is included I noticed it downloading and installing it. So I'm going to go with "yes" even though that information was impossible to find lol

EDIT

I just checked and yep it says "Installed" when I look under "view game details".

Thanks both, good to hear.

Sorry to be a pain, but what about Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station? I read somewhere that they're free on PC but aren't mentioned in my Origin download list, and I don't have a list of add-ons for Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2, like I do for 3.

For the PC, BDts and Pinnacle Station are included in the Origins digital download of Mass Effect (1), and are not listed separately.
They were independent downloads for the retail release (if you bought a physical copy of the game).
As a side note, only BtDS is still available for the retail release, but you can redeem the retail copy serial number in Origins for a free digital copy, and get both DLC.

For Mass Effect 2, you can see the list of DLC as you do with Mass Effect 3 in your Origins library.

If you have a retail version of ME2, then the list will be wrong:  you have to look at the old Bioware Social Network (BSN) for your account. That account would have been created if you registered your game with Bioware.  The account lists all your purchased DLC.

Thanks for that, Jeffon....the descriptions leave a bit to be desired, I feel, but that's a minor grumble. I had to deal with EA Customer Support after major issues with a Playstation download and I must say it ranks as one of the best customer services I've encountered.
