I would like to hear some ideas about what our protag should be wearing as well as his/her buddies. Armor, casual outfits, etc. I was thinking maybe a cool trenchcoat or whatever. Anything interesting.

For non-combat wear, the first things on my wish list are a leather jacket for female characters, color tinting, and a few formal options. 

 

For casual gear, something like this would be good:

 

 

Maybe with a longer jacket though. I like boleros, but they might be too trendy and current for a futuristic game.

Kinda something like this. Perhaps with the option to of color choices and even better the option to have a logo on it. Like a black and red sweater would have an N7 logo, blue and white would have the Alliance, orange and black would have Cerberus, white and blue would have Spectres and other factions with their emblems.

On the ship I like for my main character to wear a pair of high top Nike's. A pair of jeans with holes in them. Something like what Joe Elliot wore back in the 80's. A t-shirt that has a picture of Earth saying remember Earth on the back. On the front have the Cerberus logo. Wear a hat that says humanity #1

 

For missions, wear armor similiar to the N7 armor  or the Kestral armor from ME2

Something similar to Zoe's outfit from Firefly would be awesome. Doesn't fit the original trilogy's art style, but maybe it will be in fashion in Andromeda. It certainly goes better with the Riders in the Sky song than generic military armor.

^ Sexy looking outfit! See I love such outfits. I know a lot of people would disagree and say it's not appropriate in space but I don't care lol, I love looking sexy, my character should be able to look sexy while running around being a badass. It's a video game, so why the hell not?!

Add some longer pants and remove the bullet and grenade garter as well as the weapons. Preferably keep the scarf and necklace accessories.

I think fur is known for being notoriously hard to animate well so I'd rather they not.
