You really trying to get everyone on bioware's forum to hate you huh?

What's with the hostility?

Anyway check on YouTube. I corrected my post. It was at comic con.

I know the Comic-Con 2014 video. I talk about it in literally my next post. You hadn't corrected by the time I replied.

And when it comes to N7, just dont.

Don't what? I'm just expressing an opinion, one shared by others on this forum.

I have several sexy little black dresses that I love to wear for a flirtatious girly-girl look, and I'd like my Femme-Protagonist to wear something like this once in a while when in-game; LBDs never go out of style. Let our Andromeda PC wear some sexy or studly apparel during down-times, but not slutty/trashy looking. The intelligent, beautiful, warrior princess archetype fighting existential threats is my alter ego. If Miranda's booty can get full-screen attention, then I'd like to have my curvy size 3 get some attention too - albeit at very appropriate times in-game. Women have an advantage that not even studly N7 males will ever achieve. Perhaps it would be possible to have a stunningly dressed (or drop-dead gorgeous) M/F Protagonist's scene with an Andromeda alien (or two) - and they become so enamored that they reveal intel they otherwise wouldn't talk about - an upgrade to the scenes at the Silver Coast Casino.

Edit: Isn't this what Sha'ira was able to do?  Hmmm?

BTW - several forum members have stated in the romance threads that they'd like the protag have to deal with unwanted advances, instead of being the one who has to make all the moves. This type of clothing feature might provide another (if amusing) basis for that, and for other actions that would help the Protag achieve (non-sexual) mission goals.

In any event - I hope there is a large wardrobe selection of clothing threads that our Protag can wear for the right occasions. (No helmets!)

A note to those who want to play an evil antagonist: Your imagination is soooo limited; all you get is one dreadful outfit and only one music theme. They may be destructive, but they have no sense of fashion or adventure at all... the fools.

This exactly! Khrystyn you said it so perfectly xD

Yes it looks cool. Why all cool looking clothes are on the dark side, because they kidnapped all fashion designers. -Kira

Lets just have it so the lady protagonists don't sit so badly wearing dresses.

Despite the (minimal) perv potential, it's just not a good look.

I agree. She should have crossed legs instead of sitting like a man. Bioware was clearly too lazy remaking those scenes from male Shep and over to female Shep. The way the female body was sitting and standing was obviously a copy of male Shep lol.

Indeed, I don't think seating posture is fully gender determined, more a combination of comfort, practicality, culture and therefore habit,

so for most clothing (and for all of the base game clothing) femShep's 'male' posture was no big deal.

It's just that the little black dress from the Stolen Memory DLC was such a 'hey check out my foo foo' costume,

perhaps BioWare might take it into account this time  :P

(only on BSN could we be having this conversation !)

I'd love the option to have a wide variety of outfits to choose from - especially would love an option with sturdy boots, cargo pants, simple shirt, and long coats that are no different from the guy clothes for when I want to run around on female PCs. Same with having an option to wear slacks, a gender neutral coat, and some simple low heeled shoes. I'm all for female PCs having dresses too, but its a bit jarring if you decide to play a character who isn't a slinky little dress and cling armor fan. :D Also, elegant options for dudes, too. Variety is good!

I think the jacket in ME3 was a step in the right direction as far as aesthetics go, mainly in the sense that it looked like ACTUAL CLOTHING that people would ACTUALLY WEAR. Aside from that the only other thing I'd say is that perhaps your "casual" choices should have the same level of customization we've got with armor.

I didn't mind that the animations were shared by male and female characters since most of what is apparently considered to be "masculine" by some people tend to be how I normally sit because I find that more comfortable.

Quite frankly, I find animation that is intended to be gender neutral to look the most normal but I may be from a country where there is less difference between how people of different gender casually stand and sit.

I would like a little variety please. I will say that if my DA:I-trenchcoat-tired protagonist has to wear one more trenchcoat, she's gonna smash the screen... from the inside. I don't care if I'm mixing universes, that type of fashion crime causes the multiverse to implode anyway. And yes, that includes everything from form-fitting and sexy to a "my beauty is on the inside" potato sack style if people want to wear that, for both males and females.

As for my personal stance, I'm 100% on board with what Ms. Jenkins, the director of the new Wonder Woman movie, said and quote it here for its beauty (of course, you can't fit a Wonder Woman outfit into a ME game, don't be silly, it's about the principle):

[...] That uniqueness extended to how the Amazons look, too. “To me, they shouldn’t be dressed in armor like men,” Jenkins says of the women’s battle wear. “It should be different. It should be authentic and real – and appealing to women.” Jenkins and her costume designer, Lindy Hemming (The Dark Knight), crafted a look that showed off the women’s ripped shoulders and toned legs, in outfits that looked practical but that still featured the tropes of the comic book, in particular the braces on their wrists and, yes, even the high heels.

Jenkins defends the impractical footwear. “It’s total wish-fulfillment,” she says, adding that the warriors have flats for heavy fighting. “I, as a woman, want Wonder Woman to be hot as hell, fight badass, and look great at the same time – the same way men want Superman to have huge pecs and an impractically big body. That makes them feel like the hero they want to be. And my hero, in my head, has really long legs.”
