Was also srsly considering getting some Witcher books since I'm really enjoying Witcher 3. Might just stick with George tho, I also have a Mary Beard book about Ancient Rome that I've put on the long finger with the last month. I bought it I better read it. #procrastinationisreal

I'm currently halfway through reading the first book in ASOIAF (for the first time), as well as rewatching S1, actually surprised to see how much they followed the book even to a lot of the dialogue.
Think I prefer book!Dany to show!Dany when it comes to it dealt with her getting out from under the thumb of Viserys though. She seems far quicker on the uptake in the book to realise how pathetic he is, as well as stand up for herself, making her cold reaction to the "golden crown" far less of a sudden character change.
Forgot how much I enjoyed Robert Baratheon's character, as well as how much Catelyn Stark ruins things for everyone with her constant stream of bad decisions. ![]()

It's become a tradition that we watch the musical 1776 every 4th. It is SO damn entertaining and I also really like the fact that most of the original Broadway cast is in it.
Some of you would recognize John Adams as Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World.

Same tradition for me and my family.
I love it.

I'm curiuos if anyone here would ever be up for skyping or something like that, I keep in touch with a few of my friends with Google + hangouts and now I'm curious if anyone here would be interested in talking somewhat face to face

That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Anyone who wants my Skype ID can PM me. But I chose it a long time ago, so it is actually a little embarrassing; if I ever have to do any sort of professional activity over Skype I will certainly have to change it.

So, I can blame you?
Bah, no matter the outcome of the game I was going to lose. I hate both teams.

You can start a trend #BlameCrim
I kinda felt sorry for France tho, they were the best team of the tournament imo but eh sometimes you need some luck on the day too.

The shot that hit the post 5 or 6 cm over and it may have deflected in.

One thing that bothered me in the tournament was the differing length of rest teams had between games. Did a extra days rest make a difference?

Some of the announcer's are a bit annoying, so much crabbing about the way Portugal played. Didn't Iceland play defensive also and everyone seemed to love it, I know I did. I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to populations but it seems that teams with less talent to pull from have to play a style that gives them the best opportunity to win.

I agree with you. Tactic is a part of the game. Portuguezes tonight very well played their own game.
It can truly make a difference, but I think that's the part of a tournament. That's why those who take care of the teams have to be very careful of their choice.
