Well crud, my tattoo appointment got canceled, she wasn't able to come up with a design of my idea that she was really happy with. I wanted an arm band tattoo with some symbols in it but it just didn't work out, she's going to design a custom arm band for me and we're going to do the symbols separate from the arm band.

Not sure if you really want another tattoo or just have a serious crush. Could be both. :P

But srsly, knew this would happen, impossible to stop at one.

Unless you don't have the money, or ideas, for more tattoos.

She emailed me and said she thinks she has a really good idea, she sounded really happy about it. She's going to draw it up and send it to me, looks like I'm going to have it done next Monday evening, she had another cancellation. If I wait any longer it will be the middle of September, she's very popular, maybe I'm not the only one with a crush.

By coincidence this tattoo is going to be on my left arm. Well all that ink was weighing my right arm down, yeah that's it, I've got to even it out a bit. Oh who am I kidding I'm hooked.

Nah, it's for balance. If you get the right arm inked, the left has to be inked to balance it out and then you gotta get your back done to link them up.

Problem? Me? Never!

Well I do have a plan for one on my back but it's going to be close to my left arm, so then I guess I'll have to think about the other side.

So, Cameron is gone, Theresa May is in. Should be an interesting few days to come.

Anyone see the new Ghostbusters yet?

Must admit that when I saw the uber group defense thread I got really excited, my eyes went directly to the numbers and I said ooh look at all the sexy numbers. Yup, math geek status reaffirmed.

And then there's your legs, of course. You wouldn't want to topple over.

You're probably done for. I thought I'd stop after one. I did not.

Nice to see we've got another female Prime Minister, hopefully she'll manage to sort out the palaver the UK is in at the moment.

My brother says that since everyone started going nuts over Pokemon Go, random civilians have been coming up to the army barracks where he lives. Walking or driving up to the gates, hanging about on their phone and then leaving. One of the superior officers was concerned that they're taking photos of the base. Turns out there's a rare Pokemon in there so people are coming for that.

I'm reserving my opinion on her for the moment. Boris Johnson is a weird choice for foreign secretary. Unless the general idea was to pee off all the non-Brits.

I did find it weird that the news seemed to be treating her taking the job as if she'd somehow "won", ignoring that the previous fortnight consisted of everyone bowing out because they refused to be the one to take us out the EU, she basically got it by default as the only half-decent candidate we had left?

Boris is a weird choice whatever job he has. And given his infamous track record for insulting cities, countries and general gaffes, Maker only knows how long before he's offended half of Europe... prolly before the end of the year, I reckon?

Still, at least she got rid of Osborne, so she gets props for that.

And speaking of Pokemon Go, it seems to be getting insanely popular. Almost making me want to bother getting a new phone to play it... I actually haven't had one in years because I rarely ever use them or bother answering them, I find speaking on a phone far too awkward.

I'd love to play Pokemon Go when it arrives here, apparently it's in multiple European countries, but not mine yet.. but it seems like my phone is too old for it. I'm not sure what is the problem though, I checked my android system and it should be all right.

Well, I went to see the new Ghostbusters, and I had more fun than I expected. Chris Hemsworth is such a fox, and they took as much advantage of that as they possibly could.

It's fun. I didn't really expect to like it, but at this point, I'm really trying very hard to find an Eevee,

My brother got one from our home :D So you can find them in quite surprising places as well.

See, I'm curious about it, not sure if I want to pay to see it though. I don't have any hatred for it's existence like alot of the interweb does and the last time I watched the original Ghostbusters/Ghostbusters 2 was when I was a youngin'.

Seems like I will have to wait for a link to appear online.

Waiting is good. It wasn't at all a must see in theaters type of film.

The web outrage for this film seems mostly fueled off of a sense that quality comedy/gaming/storytelling in general is being negated in favor of tokenism and political agenda. The people who claim the last part are usually blatantly oblivious to the fact that political agenda has always been a component of storytelling. It isn't the existence of agenda that varies, just the specific subject.

As for the how it worked out, I thought it was hilarious, but not close to as memorable as the original.

Looks like I will cave and see it this weekend, my sis really wants to go. I'm not too pushed but I love the popcorn. :P

I'm just back from seeing it.

Disappointing, I wanted to like this movie, I really did. :( Bland, forgettable and really unfunny most of the time. Kristen Wiig was the best thing in it imo. I did like Bill Murray's cameo though. Wouldn't recommend it, not worth the ticket price. Bloody shame, I like those actresses, it could have been so much better.

I completely get it. The parts I thought were funny were mostly thanks to Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

But there were a lot of gags that I just didn't understand milking as much as they did, like the wonton soup one, and I thought it was slow paced in comparison to the original, or even just in comparison to what a summer comedy ought to be.

I enjoyed Roger Eberts' review, if anyone wants to check it out.

The reason why I may not see the movie is because of the negative blowback by the directors, actors and people giving it a "positive" review.

Yeah, made it eventually :D   That joining bug thing is a real pain.

I've been having a look around and settling in, seeing what's what.
