I don't drink alcohol. It took everyone in the DQ a few months to figure that one out. I had them all believing I had a liver of steel or something.

srsly?
I'm not helping the Irish sterotype right now, I know.

Last night I dreamt that I'd graduated from nursing school. I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something!
two of my friends are in nursing, as was my mom

Feeding my other addictions while waiting for the other one to come back online. Such as coffee and games and sleep.
Oh waffles I was making waffles during part of that time too. Tasty tasty waffles.

Trying to save the vent thread for actual venting, rather than random stuff XD.
Anyhoo, if anyone in the group has a mod request for DAI, send me a PM and I'll see if I can work on that. I'm not a wizard or anything, and it depends on what the request is, but I will certainly do my best. ![]()
The main thing I cannot do are 3D mesh edits, like for hairs and things.

I envy you Mustard race folk at times, all those mods sound fun. I'm just stuck with mah vanilla experience.

Well, I don't consider any one mod to be absolutely essential for gameplay. My first two plays were done sans mods and I enjoyed them perfectly well. Whenever someone asks for mod suggestions on the forums I always say they should do at least one play as vanilla.
This is counter to Skyrim where the game is horrendous without some of the UI mods, SkyUI and Better Message Box / Dialogue Box controls are the primary examples of their broken UI being fixed by players. Absolutely disgraceful.
Most of the ones I use are just to change around some little annoyances or add some of my personal aesthetic into the game. Overall, I use comparatively few mods, and no appearance or NPC mods whatsoever.

Mmmm those lovely, lovely mods. Was very glad to build my gaming rig so I could enjoy them. I actually don't use many, mostly PJ replacements, outer wear retextures, and hair. I even made my own hair mod. That was exciting. I don't use any mods that change NPC appearances, just my Inquisitor.

All right, these are absurd, but but kinda stupidly fun.
Both of these quizzes claim to tell whether you are gay, straight, or bi, the first based on images, and the second based on various things.
I was most surprised with the image test and my Kinsey scale rating, which I perceive as accurate for myself. But you only see the final result and not overall points, so I don't know how each question ranked.

...For the second one I got gay, but the first?
"You’re an open minded heterosexual. You are most likely a 1 or 2 on the Kinsey scale."
my secret's out!

I also got gay for the second first. For the first one, I got that I was 0 on the Kinsey scale and have never experienced same-sex attraction. Oopsie!

According to both tests I'm not as bi as I thought, guess I've been lying to myself this whole time and really only ever had an interest in dudes ![]()
Fun to take, though I wonder how you could see a naked woman in some of those pictures in the first test.

I got straight for both. With the images, I got a 0 on the Kinsey scale. They're both accurate for me, but I'm wondering if they're skewed straight. I'm sure there is a more elaborate and official Kinsey test that you can take that may be more accurate.
I thought some of the questions for the second one were terrible. Most of the time I can see the point of such questions for tests, but not these. Which one of these artists is most likely to be on your playlist? None of them are. I have ONE Bob Dylan song in my collection, so I picked that. The chocolate one? As I've gotten older I prefer dark chocolate over milk. Batman versus Superman? I'm not a comic fan in general, but I chose Superman because I like the more or less optimistic nature of the character.

I was able to "see" everything in the choices, but I really tried to go with what I saw first, to make a split-second decision, and go with that. It's like a Rorschach test: to say the first thing that comes into your mind, don't think about it.

Aside from one picture I could see the other stuff they mentioned but there was one picture where I just couldn't see the woman's body no matter which way I looked at it. I may take it again just to see if I can find it this time.

The first one seems more of a "how dirty is your mind?" test than anything about sexual orientation. Also, how does my noticing a naked woman's body first and a woman noticing a naked woman's body first make us both straight?
#173
Posté 10 avril 2016 - 02:00
^ On the image one where I got straight (woman here), I did not notice the woman's body first.

Are you talking about the one with the pillars, the one with the window, the other one with the window, or the one with the king? I saw the pillars first, but saw the women first for the other ones.

^ I was referring to the various pictures in total. For almost all of them I saw the non-woman image first, which is probably why I ranked straight... lol.
