I also got gay for the second first. For the first one, I got that I was 0 on the Kinsey scale and have never experienced same-sex attraction. Oopsie!
Welp, time to find ourselves some girlfriends! At least I'm "open minded," you have to go full nohomo

I took the first test a few more times out of curiosity and I couldn't get bisexual out of the first one at all. Only could get 'nohomo', 'maybe once' or 'fullhomo'. Have a bit of a feeling that the test is geared towards with males taking it since you get straight with seeing women regardless of what gender you are, then again it never asks. Even the 'whats your stripper name' test asks for your gender in the first question ![]()

All right, these are absurd, but but kinda stupidly fun.
Both of these quizzes claim to tell whether you are gay, straight, or bi, the first based on images, and the second based on various things.
I was most surprised with the image test and my Kinsey scale rating, which I perceive as accurate for myself. But you only see the final result and not overall points, so I don't know how each question ranked.
Those were fun, but... weird. Does the first one just assume you're a guy? Wouldn't a straight guy and a lesbian notice women's bodies at about the same rate?
The second one was just bizarre. I can't dance and I like Aerosmith, must be straight.

First of those tests said that I'm straight- cause you are straight woman apparently if you notice naked women.
Second one was sure I'm gay.. but I'm straight actually. So I doubt there is any accuracy in those ^^;

^ I'm starting to think that the image one was made with men in mind. Of course, I've never done an actual Kinsey scale test, so perhaps those are actually the types of things that are asked, regardless of gender. If so, then it's lame.

Here's the Kinsey-Klein test, if you're curious! Definitely nothing like the previous tests. It's more of a questionnaire than a fun personality quiz, but there ya go.

3 = equally heterosexual and homosexual!
Yay! It works.

I got "4 = predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual" which seems about right.

Huh. I got 4.5 on this scale. I self-identify as solely gay, but I had girlfriends when I was younger. And, of course, I have emotional and leisure time with both guys and gals.
Is this why people say Kinsey is flawed? Am I not gay but actually bisexual? Is this what an existential crisis feels like?
Nevermind, pretty sure I'm just plain old gay! Stupid quiz!

Ha! Yeah, no quiz is perfect and no test is truly gonna be able to tell a person's sexuality. This was the Klein test, which is basically a modified version of the Kinsey scale, which is why it includes questions about your social circle and all that jazz as "indicators". The vanilla Kinsey scale is just as flawed, but that's mostly 'cause there's no nuance - it's based entirely on one's behavior, so a lesbian who was married to a man for thirty years and only ever slept with him would qualify as "straight".
I feel like a Disney song now. "Liiiisten to your heeart, you will understaaaand~"

I got a 1.57, but even then I think that's only because I feel more socially comfortable around women, even if I'm not sexually attracted to them.
This is the problem I have with these sorts of things. There is a sort of built-in authority, so if people self identify a certain way, but get something different on such a test, some may feel inclined to question.
It doesn't really help that there are some people who think that "all women are bisexual." ![]()
And of course people change as they age, so just because you had girlfriends when you were younger doesn't mean that you might feel inclined to have one ever again.

5...? I don't see how having mostly female friends (or socialising with straight people) should influence my orientation, honestly :/ I'm pretty sure I'm a solid 6, I've figured out my romantic and sexual feelings for men pretty early on, and nothing has ever compelled me to rethink that.

^ Actually, I think in your case the social aspects might be a bit skewed because of the circumstances of where you live in the world*. Do you think there is the possibility you might have different results if you lived in the US or a similar place?
Of course, not every gay person is going to be into every aspect of that community, so the above might not apply. Or it might not have anything to do with it at all. People are thrown together socially in a number of different ways, so I don't really think that should be a strong indicator of anything. Still, I think it's something to consider.
* I don't know exactly, but you've dropped hints, here and there.

I mean, I'm not so sure. I guess the point that I have mostly female friends may come from the fact that women here are far more accepting, and there is a possibility I've been drawn to that. But the test considers having a mixed group (when it comes to sexualities) you socialise with as something that moves you to the left on the scale. I mean, I have some bisexual friends, and it's nice to be able to relate, but as long as I don't have to hide, I don't see a reason to seek out an exclusively LGBT set of friends or exclusively gay meetings. Unless the point is vague and means socialisation with the intent of looking for someone romantically.

^ I think the implication is that you will eventually hook up with the people you socialize with, or that gay and straight people are likely to stick within their communities.
However, this doesn't account for the straight guys who typically like to hang with other guys and do "guy things" and behave in a different way when seeking out women for romantic purposes, and the same is true for straight women who prefer to hang with women.
In the end, tests are dumb and should not be taken as an indicator of anything significant.

Been watching podcasts for the past few hours waiting for some riesling to chill in the fridge out of curiosity of the flavor. Really hoping it's better than the merlot gran and I tried last week.
Probably a dick thing to do while my father is here but I am keeping it out of his sight.
Not bad, kind of like it. I think I may find the kind of drink I'll reach for the rare times I do actually drink.
