This is a royal pain, making it very difficult to play ME1 anymore because I am lacking critical information, particularly in combat.  It also makes it impossible for me to clearly see any weapon mods applied.  I have an Nvidia GTX970 card but this issue has followed me from when I had a GTX7xx level card too so it isn't specific to this graphics device.  I do not have a usable HUD, radar, other highlight or identifiers visible in the game.  Powers do not show up in the HUD, the radar is just empty (or the red/green dots are black instead).

Any ideas how to fix this?  I've tried a bunch of different resolutions, full-screen, windowed, and nothing fixes it.

Huh? No, never seen this. I also have a GTX970 (play on win7 x64).

I take it you don't use any graphics mods? I used to get some HUD glitches when using texmod (nothing like this though) but since I switched to MEUTIM, I never had issues anymore.

Only mod I have is the MEUITM mod (that HUGE texture mod). 

 

This was with Windows 7 x64 and now with Windows 10 x64.

 

And this is just after having reinstalled it after reinstalling windows.

Found the problem.  I had forgotten I had a shader override mod installed.  Removed that and it fixed the issue.

You should have left it. It would have been interesting (unless you're on Insanity).
