You'll know it, Spectre stuff has the HWM designation, and you don't get it from loot. You can only buy it once you reach 1 mil credits with at least one character.

OK guys got it done at level 36 with Garrius and Tali. It was no problem with higher level better guns and mods. Hardly had to even use the abilities.
This time they couldn't even get down the hallway without being cut to ribbons.
I took Commando cause well, i like DPS and hate tanking.

I always try to have one attack, one tech, and one biotic guy in the party to handle all possible contingencies. Sabotage is excellent for situations like those, and if the tech guy has Damping as well, it's an easy way to keep enemy biotics under control. The biotic party member handles crowd control with Lift and Throw, and the attack member... well, just max out his Assault Rifles or Shotguns talent and give him the biggest gun you can find. XD

*For Protection:
Soldier: Use Shield and Immunity!
Vanguard: Barrier and shield
Infiltrator: Shield and Immunity
*Weapon / Power:
Soldier: Assault Rifle and Shotgun with carnage blast....
Vanguard: Shotgun with carnage....( + use warp )
Infiltrator: Pistol and Assault Rifle - bonus talent ( + tech )
*Team mates:
With Tech: ( Garrus, Tali or Kaidan )
Use - Sabotage ( used to stop an enemy from firing at you; Hitting containment cells or fuel tanks with Sabotage will cause them to explode, causing environmental damage and, in some areas, starting a massive chain reaction), Overload ( overload ability, which damages enemies and shuts down their shields ) and use Damping.....
When attacking, don't get too close with two rocket drones..

well with more advanced lift ability instead of getting one or two of the bots my biotic was able to grab the whole bunch then i ran under them and blasted away with a shot gun as they floated to the ceiling. I sort of felt cheap about doing that but it was fun. Like shooting fish in a Biotic field.

Tali + Garrus/Kaiden = Drone doom.
When I play on insanity, the drones don't even usually get a chance to open fire on me. Get them to bunch up (very easy), disable their weapons and shields with tech powers, then blast away (they are often half damaged after the 1-2 tech punch).
Gear really doesn't matter on this one, it's all about managing your tech powers so the drones can't do anything. Tech powers are absolutely devastating against non-organics.
And at mid to high levels, they can do so much damage you barely even have to fire a shot.
Ash+Wrex is the second worse team to take with you.
