Mass effect 3 only downfall was the original way the ending was delivered.

after the extended cut and leviathan DLC the player can understand the ending and it's passable.

but ME3 brought up some seriously good moments like Touchanka and ranoch. epic moments,

Edit: Wrong thread and wrong quote.

Well anyways the release isn't even out yet, so a bit too early for a preorder. I hope they don't rush the game and **** up and instead just take their time with it like CDPR and give us something worth playing.

It's not just the ending, the rest of the game was pretty s**t too.

umh,

...why hang around here in the ME forum with us then if everything from ME game was that bad?

Heard the nbt is The Division,

maybe you can make it worthwhile for yourself by hanging around there and also not like that for a while.

I don't pre-order, it's just generally a bad idea, some crappy incentive like an in game N7 hoodie isn't going to change that. The one exception I made was for the collectors edition of The Witcher 3 because there were limited copies and they sold out FAST. CDPR also has my trust as a consumer, whereas BioWare hasn't for a long time.

Because o Ventus might still like the previous installments in the series and may be hopeful towards Mass Effect Andromeda? Someone disliking one or more installments in a franchise does not necessarily mean that said someone dislikes the franchise.

I have to disaree; there were a number of things I found flawed in Mass Effect 3 without touching on the endings and I admit that I would likely have let quite a few of them slide for a time if I felt the endings had made up for the rest of the game's flaws but it did not in my opinion nor did the extended cut. I still do not find the endings passable but through with modding, I do not have to dread having to sit through it to finish the game.

A little too much autodialogue for my liking, but apart from that, ME3 was generally a great experiance. IMHO and all that jazz. Will not touch MEHEM or a mod such as that with a ten-foot pole ;) But it is sort of sweet that it is there for those who can't stand the heat.

Bartender!

Pre-order please!

ME3 wasn't as bad as people make it out to be imo, endings aside. Inquisition was bad though, and there are no words for the abomination that was DA2.

How many people are going to pre-order just so they can cancel it later, I wonder?

This is why I love hanging out with you guys! Why pre-order and cancel something once when you can do it 46 more times?

Ugh, stupid Kindle crashing. Let's try this again.

I will probably not pre-order unless there is some interesting goodies in the CE. As I've mentioned before, I did like DA:I. Still do. However, the amount of patches has been utterly bonkers. For awhile there, every 1-3 weeks or so there was another patch. These days, I don't have the time nor the patience to go through that. DA:I was a reminder why I almost never ever buy games brand new. The last time I had bought a new game prior to DA:I was FF XIII. $60 bucks collecting dust on my game shelf because I personally found the game wretched. I'll probably be an idiot in another 3 years or so and buy another game brand new.

Most likely, I'll just wait for non-spoiler reviews from various sites before I make my purchase.

I'd pre-order a re-mastered trilogy for PS4!

Yes please.

I pre-order rarely. But for games where a good time is GUARANTEED....... I'll do it. (AKA Bioware, Naughty Dog games.)

This is the Andromeda subforum, not the ME3 subforum.

Nice try though.

Despite what the people who are militantly against pre-ordering may say, pre-orders do have their advantages. They are nice if you don't have $60 lying around and still want to play a game at launch. Easier to pay a game in $5 increments instead of all at once, or if you are a fan of collector's editions which are hard to get if you don't preorder.

And no matter how much hate I get from this, I will always stick to my opinion that Mass Effect 3 was a fantastic experience for me no matter the ending. ME:A will be a definite purchase for me and if they release a Collector's Edition, I will preorder it.

Not interested in pre-ordering. But that's not exclusive to BW games.

In addition, I want to give them a bit of time to make sure the game is running properly, minimal glitches, no crashing and all that.  When I do sit down for that First PT, I don;t want to deal with any foolishness.

But I don;t want to poop on your parade, Op. If you're hype, be hype. It's kinda refreshing. Pre-order if you want. Maybe they will have some cool pre-order stuff?

Title stated "Let's get serious here"

Topic advocates something as idiotic as preordering.

Pre-ordering =/= Serious ----> Contradiction in terms -----> Mind blown
