The two actually interesting bits of that article are the alleged confirmation of Ryder as the protagonist name, and this screenshot:

MESSAGE POPULAIRE !
Size is only a positive if there are meaningful things to do in that space. If it's just huge zones where we do nothing but pick Flowers of Life and kill the occasional Invid, then I will be disappointed.

Every time a dev brags about how massive their game is I feel a sense of dread, is there going to be enough meaningful content to fill this "staggering" world? Will the areas be full of fetch quests, will they even have those? I don't mind open worlds but I want them be as open as they have content to fill.
The Witcher 3 restored some of my hopes for this trend Bethesda has created for all rpgs I guess. So maybe there is hope.

If that planet and that vehicle is a thing then I just know I'm going to end up crashing into every one of those stone pillars.... I hope they're not sacred.

Based on that screen shot, it looks like the answer is "No." #Sten#Arishok
TW3 copied the AC games for its open world design. I doubt ME is going in that direction.

Everything in that article we already knew months ago and/or is being assumed by the writer.

I wish it would though, TW3 did open world RPG really well better than AC ever did.

AC didn't really have an open world. But TW3 distributed content in the way AC did (and the way GTA before it did, which is a similar concept). It's a better way of populating a map with activities.

I'm just saying if you have an open world put interesting things in it or don't do it at all.

I agree, I'm just saying based on the open-world games I've seen, having one with interesting things it is the exception, not the rule.

Yeah, you are right and that is sad. Still they can do better than DA:I at least so I hope for that.

Awww, why? Then you'll only have to spend another week downloading all the patches?
EDIT : My prediction about the game is in mid-April they will start by teasing us, possibly with some more concept art. Then, they will release a tad more info, possibly about the main character. By then, it will be time for EA Play, and the hype train will be in full motion. 'Cause looking around here right now? This is dead.

It should be. After all of the talk about how the PS3 and 360 were holding DA: I back and that was some of the reason that game sucked so bad I fully expect a 100 hour SP on top of a huge MP with 15+ maps and at least the same number of characters with more abilities.
I'm not even being sarcastic. If we got what we got and old gen was the reason then I better see it in this game.

I live in rural Canada, my connection is probably something you experienced in the early 90s. It's basically ISDN, so 2x dialup.

Only the pillars with a specific form is sacred, but if you destroy one who declare war with that entire specie.
Good luck.

"Players will instead be controlling a completely different character, though the only fact we know about them is their name: Ryder, in reference to Sally Ride, the first female astronaut.
This was revealed in a trailer (narrated by the female Shepard’s voice actor Jennifer Hale) that was released on N7 Day (November 7) in 2015."
Not exactly, the writer is making the same assumption that many on the BSN are making.
