BTW if I can replace computer workstations made of rescaled mirrors and books to simulate screen, keyboard and mouse, that would be really great ;).

Okay, I grabbed this one from blendswap. It's fairly high poly, but I've included LoD parts. No mouse, unfortunately.

Nice but having spent several decades in a "modern" setting, I find more enjoyment these days in chatting with dragons an solving problems with pointy implements. ;-)

Looks good . Thanks in anticipation!

Don't mind the mouse, actually a foreign species might use that kind of computers but without a mouse . And I can rescale a book to simulate a mouse when needed.

RWS Jungle Ruins with the "Metal_Forged_Purgatorio" texture on the walls.

edit: The shadows are kind of weird because of the light I put in the area, but I think the texture certainly could work for sci-fi. The tileset pack has quite a number of metal texture options that might work well for an old spaceship filled with aliens that will jump out and bite your head off.

Nice. With a more orange tint, the walls would look like Goa'uld ship or stronghold walls.

Hello,

Below a "modern industrial" area made (not finished yet) using rjshae's placables (last 2 images) :

https://onedrive.liv...4D4!329&o=OneUp

I tried  to select the /insert from Onedrive then reduce to midsize (660 ppx) the images. Nothing did it, still rejected when I post.

Don't use the "embed" option.  You don't want code, you just want a plain URL that points at an image, like this:

NWN2_SS_040316_191600.jpg

I assume this is one you wanted to link. There were two that I saw using these modern placeables, and two that didn't.

Thanks Tchos, Exactly, this one and the other in the night from another angle.

Call me a moron but how do you get the "plain" url?

Edit : I got it! You can call me a moron .

Nice stuff, Claudius33. I like the glowing masks.

Here's the second batch. My favorite is the fork lift.

...and here's the updated set: release 0.2 . I still need to add tinting for some of the pieces.

Nice props, rjshae! Even a computer, cool! Downloaded.

The forklift is really impressive.

It seems that I've got work to do. I must review all first module areas and some very specific locations of the second module  :D.

If you add as many props every new version, that's gonna give quite a collection :P.

Well I began with a list of target models to build and I've been steadily grinding my way through them. My initial goal was 100 placeables, but it looks like I'll finish well past that. Unfortunately, up to 30-40% of them are proving unsuitable for porting to NWN2, which is a real shame in some cases. Plenty more to come, at any rate.

Thanks. :)

Isn't there already a TARDIS in Jonny Ree's segment of the BouncyRock Halloween campaign?

Excellent,  can't wait to see that :).

I've just had a look on the new props in the toolset, they are not all on your pictures. Nice work.

Well, I've learned something, I didn't know the TARDIS machine and the Doctor Who serie ...

Here's the third and final batch. This includes a pair of construction sets--the brick and concrete walls in the back--that can be used to create grungy walls or buildings. There's just a couple more tanks I want to add, then I'll post the lot.

Ah-ha!  that's pretty spiffy.  Post-apocalyptic campaign would be cool...  Maybe someday.

Very nice, rjshae! Downloading ...

Fence and walls are cool additions.

Edit : Just a tiny mistake in your placeables.2DA : 2 items Mod_Ladder01 and Mod_Tank05 are both numbered 3122.

Some modern furnishings...

fig1_zpssfw3h2go.jpg

Most are ported from low-poly models. A few (like the red chair at right) needed a bit of work to get them down into the right range. One or two may work in a fantasy setting? Anyway, the clock on the wall says it's nearly lunch time...  :)

Looks like I can photocopy my scrolls and buy potions from those soft drink dispensers at the back :-)

I'd change the texture on those to make them grog dispensers, like in Monkey Island.
