Yes!
No Adrenaline Mod was used! My pee was tested!

I think the Atlas pilot was drunk.
What kind of saucery is dis?

And I don't think it has anything to do with speed and everything to do with the angle.

I got the exact same situation yesterday. As Binary said, it's the angle, not the speed.
I think cerberus was drunk again because anytime I try and do this, the missile does a 180 and still hits me. You were probably on host or had some fantastic lag there!
So you're saying that I was either on host or had lag. Yes, you are correct! ![]()
I'm just waiting for the press conference where Mr. Paladin explains he was taking those drugs to treat a family history of diabetes. Not to cheat and he didn't read those emails.
I don't think it has anything to do with speed and everything to do with the angle.

I guarantee you that it has at least something to do with speed, because if I had been standing still, it definitely would have hit me!

What kind of black magic is this?!?

so now BSN talks about Maria Sharapova

Yup it's either a case of having no lag at all or lagging so bad that you warp physics itself. Those are the only times this has happened to me!
Also I think it's more about the angle than the speed here. Paladin isn't exactly a runner now is he.
I guarantee you that it has at least something to do with speed, because if I had been standing still, it definitely would have hit me!
Well, duh. But it's not like the Paladin has any speed bonuses over other kits. Here, the Atlas was firing his missile at a steep angle and you were running at a rather steep (almost 45*) angle yourself. It happens, but like once in 10 Cerberus games or even less.
30 FPS.
If you join the Master Race at 60, you'll find that the rocket/warpball/siege pulse will track you and even make U-turns most of the time. One of the more reliable ways to dodge it then becomes ducking into nearby cover just before the missile reaches you. The animation is very quick and changes your position fast enough for the targeting algorithms to lose you.

Pff, I dodged rocket trooper missile that came from behind without watching in my celebratory AIU all-melee solo before it was nerfed.

Trust me, that doesn't change on console!
I've been playing on consoles since launch, and this is literally the only time that I've ever seen anything like this.
Some kits can dodge Banshee warp balls on console (even Juggys if the circumstances are right) but I had yet to see anyone dodge an Atlas missile before yesterday.

OMG! Is that what ME3 looks like on Xbox? BRB, need to go buy an Xbox.
Seriously, I swear those graphics are noticably sharper. Almost as huge a jump as FF13 when I upgraded from a 480 TV to a 720, there were things there I never knew existed!
(No, I am not just trolling, that really did strike me as a noticable difference, I am sad now)

I have now played at 30 FPS and at 60 FPS on PC. In one case the missiles have only slightly curving trajectory which rarely corrects itself in a drastic manner. In the other, the trajectory is updated much more often to the point of making veritable U-turns.
FPS affects tracking algorithms and enemy's action frequency. Even between 50 and 60 FPS there is a (small, but noticeable) difference.
As for your particular case - you made a sharp change of direction just when you started running. The missile did not have enough time to correct for that.
