[Female Commander Shepard]

Hello everyone, I'm curious as to which guys in Mass Effect people like and don't like.

I think I've narrowed mine down to the top three:
Joker
Legion (In my mind he's a dude)
Garrus/Thane

•

My least favorites:
Jacob: (He's just very forgettable, in my opinion.)

Kai Leng: ( tbh he was a good villain because I hated him very much, but I really just hate him for killing Thane. He's also annoying asf.)

Favorite Characters Grunt and Mordin

 

Least Favorite was Ashley Williams (I know she is not male.., but she carried on like she had a pair)...., whinge, whinge, moan, moan.., that's ALL she ever did...., It was like playing with the ex-wife.

My least favourite male character was James Vega, never used him unless I had to. I get he was supposed to be the the walking narrative device for people new to the franchise, but I felt he was a bit limited by that. He had good points, sure, but he'd quickly just revert back to being a generic meat-head. Never really felt like he developed much. 

Poor Jacob never stood a chance; so, SO boring.

Kai Leng: So much potential to be an interesting villain, but never lived up to it. 


I generally liked most of the other characters.

Honestly I really don't care if this has been a thread before. Different people answer each time so there will be different answers. I asked because I was curious, there's really no need for you to complain about it. Answer the question or just don't bother saying anything at all, thanks.

Could you quote me the part where I complained? It seems more like I asked you a question out of curiosity and you complained about the question. That's a pretty obvious double standard.

Can't say I have more male characters I absolutely don't like... Even Leng was quite good in Retribution - wasted opportunity.

Least favorites would be Jacob, TIM, Kaidan (Always died in the Nuke), James Vega, and Javik. with a special hated spot for Conrad.  Joker is thoroughly annoying, but tolerable.

...is entirely genderless. Something like EDI obviously has an intended gender inherent in its programming, but Legion's no more or less male than female (i.e. it is neither). I disliked Shepard getting all dumb and calling it "he" all the time without my input.

Least
Wreav (self explanatory, he's a bloodthirsty psychopathic dictator)
Zaal'Koris (severly annoying, and ruthless to his own people in pursuit of his political machinations)
Councilor Sparatus (Mr. "Ah yes, Reapers")
Councilor Valern (the weak salarian standing next to him)
Udina (traitor who is more concerned with personal political career goals than protecting humanity)
TIM (was ambivalent until he backstabbed me on the Collector Cruiser)
