I know I'm behind, since the black box in Val Royeaux was pages ago, but I finally found it - In Dorian falling-through-world fashion  . 

 

 

I spent a long time trying to find a way to OOB in Val Royeaux, but...as you all probably know, just gotta know where to jump off  .

 

Nice shot...

 

And on that note, I've found the "mystery misty-glowy cube" beneath other places as well (eg. the Valence Cloister).

I had to re-install Win10 recently and spent a bunch o' time getting OBS re-configured properly (um, I hope... ).

Here's a look at the upper regions in Valammar.

I tried to explore the lower reaches, but there's a death zone that thwarts me from both inside Valammar as well as trying to work my way there from the outside (and under). It'd be a good challenge for anyone wanting to try to get there!

WOW. I had high hopes for Valammar, but that was way above expectations. Move over Rivendell, Valammar is the new king of waterfall tourism. I was hoping you'd hit the high foot bridge. I've taken Flycam from there, but the in-person view is so much better. Nice selfies at the end--what causes that halo effect?

Also, did I imagine things, or was some of that fall damage critical hits? How is that even possible?

Skyhold prison was a bit of a disappointment, but mostly due to LOD object removal. Would be awesome to see the waterfall with all the walls and stuff filled in. Still, the inside the waterfall view was cool.

The halo effect must be one of the passives. I wonder what all the aura stuff is at times too...

 

But yes, the higher your crit chance, the higher chance you have of taking crit falling damage!

The Arbor Wilds is pretty self-contained, but the Temple of Mythal is pretty fun to run around OOB in...

And I just took a bunch of footage from the bridge and waterfall areas where the dragon attacks. I just need to comp it all together. Under that bridge, I found some hidden Red Templars as well as armor I didn't immediately recognize...

Oh, that sucks. I was hoping to see stuff beyond Stone Bear Hold.

Yeah, they're Venatori armor, just... missing pieces I think.

 

And you can still go beyond SBH, it's just that some of those off-shore peaks are inaccessible.

Neat, thanks. I never noticed that large statue at Stone Bear Hold. I should look for it since I'm currently in the Frostback Basin with one of my Inquisitiors. Also, I liked that your Mage bike kicked her way to the Lady's Rest.
